  1. I Yea going to the ACH and being there in GZ for the interview will help a bunch. But the VO's dont always work every Friday. The day I was there, this bunch was out on the Golf Course at 2.30pm. Bobby....
  2. Roggit If you can't understand or remember how to "screw it" a bulb that is! I'm sure one of the EXPERTS can tell you a really simply way to just "Screw It" maybe even give you some photos and or a link. What every you do I would advise against standing in water while doing this little task of just "Screwing It" a bulb that is! Even if Dougie did this once, it still didn't make him any brighter. Bobby....
  3. Really a Simple answer to your problem Roggit! Just screw it in and if it doesn't work you can tell us but, now if the worst could happen and you get fried..... o well.... Am I still in ur WIIL? Bobby....
  4. I've been here about 3 weeks, haven't got homesick yet. I love every day that spent with my husband together here in the states. He works at home. so we have plenty time being together. whenever he has to leave me alone at home,he is always so worried. He calls me to check me is doing good whenever he gets time to talk. I feel secure and comfortable at home. ANd I feel home chores are much easier than in China, though I didn't have to do it when I was in china. Our neighbours are very nice and friendly. One neighbour even invited my husband and me go dinner together. Paula, I understand your feelings. but you need learn to trust and depend on your husband. You will see most time you are worry about nothing. Take it easy and enjoy the peaceful life in the states. Emma
  5. Yeap... I'm with you two Dam Texicans and Bill! Even we own an apartment and a Condo in China, I don't think you could run the wifey off without her putting up a big fight. Happy wifey = happy home life God Bless America!!! Bobby....
  6. I took the wifey to the SS office here in The Woodlands, Monday all we had to show was her passport with the I 551 stamp in it and turn in the application. We had all the other papers Birth C, Marriage C, aka Red Book both in English and Chinese, her Chinese id and Chinese Driver L, but, didn't have to show any of them. The wait was longer that the time we spent at the window. 1 hour wait, 5 minutes to complete the few questions asked at the window and time to log into SS office PC. I ask to get it in her married name "my name" and was told to wait till the SS card arrive and then come back after filing the I 90 thingie. Bobby.... "im not trainable"
  7. When she said that I replied that it didn't state in the I485 instructions that I couldn't move. Toni please keep us updated on this "BS" that Uncle Sam is making you go thur good luck and best wishes Bobby/Emma.... "im not trainable"
  8. Thanks guys. I think I will work on the appeal tonight. Damn Toni sounds like our Uncle Sam just s*****, glued and tattooed all at the same time. Maybe you should request a kiss? Sometimes I can't believe the BS our Uncle Sam and his workers make us go thur. Seems to me the left hand never knows what the right hand is doing. When it comes to our favorite Uncle !! Wish you the best of luck. Bobby.... "in early days of trainin"
  9. Andrew I guess I screwed up??? as my stairs face the front door. If you go right you go upstairs, left hallway to enter my home.."opppss her home" sorry I'm still in training. I don't have anything anymore. What was mine is now hers and what is hers is still hers. I guess thats the Chinese way of 50/50??? But no matter life is so sweet and ITS so good to see her smile and happy!! When the wifey is happy and smilin my life is heaven on earth and when she is not smilin and happy, well we want go there.... Should I have someone come and rebuild my home. But that wastes more money! This Chinese thingie keeps me so confused and I wonder if I will ever understand it? In my short training period I did find one thingie that WORKS great. Maybe some of you are wondering what that one thingie is!! Well I''ll tell you its "YES DEAR your right" after all you have 5000 years of history and me I only have a little over 200 years history. So this makes you smarter than me. Thanks Dave for giving me that little bit of advice. You folks in OK ain't so bad after all. Bobby.... in training
  10. Thank you, lawrence. I'll add you in my Yahoo friend list. I log in Yahoo very rarely since we got together. Bobby was the only reason I logged in Yahoo. I'm very happy to know some neighbours in Texas. Nice to know you. Bobby's wife Emma
  11. Thanks for your nice words,Jim. CFL is like a big family. We are like bothers and sisters.I'm looking forward to meeting you and your wife. Bobby's wife Emma
  12. I arrived at the states only one week. haven't got homesick yet. My husband works at home.He complains that he can't concentrate when I'm around. So I stay out of his office when he is working.doing homechores, watching TV,reading books, working with the laptop.(I have problem to set up wireless network in my laptop so my husband let me using his). He comes to check me doing ok once in a while (he is such a sweet husband) and he takes me with him when he goes out for working. He teaches me everything very patient. He praises and encourages me no matter what I do.He push me learning stand on my own feet. He makes any chance for me to do things by myself. I was scared and nervous of talking to others. I feel much relax now. He takes me to visit one CFLer living in same city. (Andrew, thank you and Maggie for your kindness. I had very good time with your wife Maggie. I start to miss your little angel Alex. ) He always reminds me calling back to China. I call my son every day before he goes to bed. before I left China, I bought my son plenty of IP phone cards and taught him how to use it. So he calls me whenever he wants to talk. I love the peaceful life in the States. I'm so lucky and blessed to have my husband sharing the rest of my life with. Bobby's wife Emma
  13. Yes Sir Dennis! and thanks. I'm not only a lucky man but a very bless man! Bobby....
  14. Meimei,I understand your feeling. But I don't think it is right to ask for a gift. That will make your SO feel bad.He would think you cares about the gifts more than him. As a woman,I'm agree with you that the little gifts shows the loves and cares for each others. but did you buy anything for him? I believe there is another way more skilled to remind him show his special love for you on the special day. hehehe, seems it takes time to train a man. I remember I bought perfume for my husband in 2005 Christmas at that time we were apart. He sent me greeting cards. This year,we spent Christmas together in China. I mentioned the gifts. but he said we didn't have Christmas in China. and plus we have received the best gift from the US government....the VISA. This didn't bother me. I can buy anything I want by myself and plus my husband has applied American credit card for me.and he has showed his loves for me all the time. I have nothing to complain about. Please don't bother yourself by this tiny things. Happy New Year! I'm sending you a warm hug for your new year gift. Emma
  15. We had ours done in GZ. 8 Dec. and from time she left to go and have it done till the time she came back was about 3-4 hours. One of the ladys from MR "whatz his name" in the consulate building went with her. Then you go back and pick up the results the next day. That took about 2 hours as they are always busy. The waiting room was full of others getting results done or either picking up the results My wife told me they did make sure she was a real female... or real male it you have a female USC SO. Yes she did have to take her cloths off, and yes it was a lady that checked her body. Now if they made her "SPREAD EM" I'm not sure. She said they did write down the location and put in her file all marks on her body like birth marks, molds, scares, tattoos, and thats she was 100% female no aftermarket or replacement parts was added to her body. Bobby....
  16. Well... Roggit, Roger, Rog, Roggie So now you know the hole truth and nothin but the truth "so help him/me/you Sheep" THE EXPERT HAS SPOKEN!! This is my take on this and JMO. Ifin you buy a dish washer... and ifin you don't have any funds you can't use it. Its for show and tell only Remember electricty cost to much and plus you can't buy any Cascade unless you pay 54RMB for a small package. Geezs if I could afford a dishwasher, I could afford Cascade and the electricty to use it. "But thats JMO" Also Roggit.... A cloths dryer is out of the question, experts say that if you buy this fine machine you will NEVER turn it on. I guess its like one of those thingies....if you buy one of these fine machines your just trying to keep up with the Yang's or Jones? Have the wifey hang it outside to make it hard and to get coal dust all over it and so it will not smell so good. No one in China wears cloths that smell good!! Remember to buy only the washer/dryer combo Remember the expert said that the best!?!? Its a funny thing I have seen a few of these fine machines in China. But then again I could have been mislead into believing that's what it was. Kinda sorta like that pic of Don and Trigg, we was mislead into believing that was REAL! Darn it looked real. But I guess it had been in photo shop. But I'm not a EXPERT so I don't know for sure. A little word of advice Roggit before you buy a new flat screen TV you had better ask the expert. Maybe folks in China buy those cardboard display models and hang them on there wall to look at?! But then again I could have been confused or maybe having a flash back, since I'm a product of the 60's and 70's. I thought this may help you Roggit, just incase you didn't understand. I mean after all your from ChezWizConSin and I wanted to help you a fellow CFLer out. I don't hold it against you for being from ChezWizConSin and that your a GOAT lover. After all someone has to live there and your FREE to LOVE GOATS. Not everone can live in TEXAS "The Lone Star State" Bobby....
  17. Congratulations!! I'm glad this is in the past for the both of you. Now starts the real test "Training" Merry Christmas to the both of you God Bless Bobby/Emma somewhere in China
  18. Just relax and chill out!! Everything will be ok I understand your feeling. From P4 till after the interview we both were a basket case. But my wife had everything in the kitchen sink and works great under pressure. When the VO ask for this one document my wife said he looked shocked/suprised when she handed it to him. My wife said that she felt we was headed for a blue slip till she handed him that one single document. and I almost didn't bring it to China Wishing you the best out come. Bobby/Emma
  19. Dave once again another GREAT STORY!! I have notice your choose your words very wisely but I have a few question??? "Was that part her trainng you... or was that from a few years of her Mop and your Head coming together?" How did you keep a straight face when she was asking for those "free range walking chickens?" Is this what I have to look forward to when we return to the states together in about 8-9 days? Bobby....
  20. Roger, Roggie, Rog. Seems you told me a story Roggie!!! We made plans to go and visit Hainan before returning to the States. I had my wife to ask if it was OK for a real Texican to travel and visit and this ladys reply was SURE we love Texans and there money. Seems they know a lot about Texas Beef and its good taste. Since the price of our Condo in "Chongqing" has gone up in value over the past few years. We may sell it and buy somewhere else. We will keep our apartment here. Im just wondering it this one horse town of Hainan is big enough for a ChezWinConsiner and a REAL Texan?? I would hate to have a Chinese type replay of the "Shoot out in Dodge City" Remember the good guy always wins!!! Don't worry folks I will tell y'all if Rog, Roger, Roggie told us "The hold truth and nothing but the truth" so help him/you Prince of Duke!!! Also I want let my camera get lost/stolen as some other person did........ which i will keep nameless.<<<>>> "Roggie, Roger, Rog" BTW one other question, if you get cloned, what happens to the real Roggie? Will he be wearing cement shoes in the bottom of one those Famous Lakes in ChezWizConSin? So many questions so little answers
  21. Congrats, and yes there is light at the end of the tunnel but from P4 to the date of the interview was the hardest and the most stressful part of this ride for me and my wife. Good luck and best wishes fasten your seatbelt Bobby/Emma
  22. I agree with Lee good luck and best wishes JIM!!!! You darn Aggie, o well ur still a Texican Bobby....
  23. AFF Man my wife has a memory better than your PC!!! She never forgets anything Just ask her she can tell you the time and place and word for word every time I screwed up and did something wrong. No for real she was cool at the interview, her being a bussiness woman she works well under pressure. And me being here help.
  24. Sir Charles Thanks bro for your warm thoughts and wishes No Sir I only filed for CR1... about 15 days away from being a year I dont care how you look at it, Darn thats still one year good luck my man with your Visa!! God knows you need a little luck Sir Charles may Gods speed be with you This goes to prove first in, is not first out! For all you other folks out there in CFL wonder land read Davids FAQ, there is a world of info and this man has work his butt off to make things go smoothly for others. Yea maybe some of David words and answers, etc are not so simple and easy to read and understand.... like for us slower Texicans LOL but if I can do it anybody can My advice is when it comes time go and see the Wizard in GZ, bring the kitchen sink. If you have thought about it, bring it.. The Wizard could ask for that document...and having it in the states will not help at this moment in your life. Good luck to each and everyone of you God Bless and have a safe and wonderful Chirstmas. Maybe 2007 bring you much happiness Bobby/Emma thanks again to the complete cast and crew of CFL and to a few others no matter how off the wall them may seem to act.
