1. QUOTE(sleepless in Houston&CQ @ Jul 21 2006, 10:48 AM) It is an interesting topic. Hubby and me have talked about this a lot on the phone. I'm glad we always have the same thoughts. We are really one! If my husband asked me sign this agreement before we got married, I would sign without any hesitation. But this would hurt my pride. and I would't share my assets with him either. I don't think this is a good beginning of a new life. I believe it is better to tell your SO before she leaving china. If you think she is your missing half and want to share the rest of your life with her,why don't you ask for her opinion about this issue? Bobby's wife Emma Bill I did not write this post my wife did! But I agree with Emma 100%. As we both don't have a pot of gold, but we both have a nice pot to piss in and more than one window to throw it out. per Don's twisted post... lol Bill dude im glad you have made the decison to put this to rest. If you don't have trust in a marriage you will never have anything to write home about. A little wise Texas tale "if your going to try and piss up a rope make sure your not on the down wind side" cause you could get a golden shower! I wish you and your lao po the best in your new life God Bless America THIS IS MY OPINION Bobby....

6. Thanks Now back to the topic of the post. Has anyone experienced the Verbage in the Police Certification including FG? 230944 Eric If I remember my SO just did hers in Chongqing and its says "No criminal activity nor arrest in Chongqing"... now we are trying to get one from Wuxi, to covers all the bases but seems the folks in Wuxi are being A**holes. And are saying since she doesnt live there they cant do. later Bobby....
7. We tried twice and both times was turned down. In short the VO said I had a better chance in growing hair before they gave us a Tourist Visa since we had already turned part 1 in and then again after part 3. We had to wait and wait and still waiting But theres no harm in trying. Or so I was told.
8. I don't hate Japanese. I just don't buy or use the products of Japan. I have a pool of friends who will beat me up if I buy any product of Japan. If any of my relatives date a Japanese, I'll just forget her/him forever. My 18-year-old daughter told me a story: A Chinese American noticed there were so few books in the libraries about the war between Japanese and Chinese during WW II so he wrote a book recording Nanjing Holocaust. While writing the book, his hair fell off. He committed suicide after finishing the book: he was feeling the pain, struggle, moaning of the whole nation of Chinese people. 60 years, but Chinese people still feel the pain. My cousin's wife is from north east China. She described 2,000 people from her village captured by Japanese for bacteria testing - it's much worse than death or gas chamber. 229967 Good point Smillingface!
9. When I was at school, I was always taught being friendly to Japan. So it is not true that chinese government fans the fire of anti Japanese sentiment to stir up nationalist fervor. And I did textile business with Japanese buyers for many years and made some $$$$$. My apartments,my car are all from that business. I have to say they have very good reputation in payment. I have many friends who are working in Japanese company and making a better life than most chinese people. But I start to reject Japanese products since I noticed those Japanese products in china market are not as good as they sell to North America and Europe. They sell junks to china. I have quit that business with japanese buyers also. An American man will never understand why our chinese don't like Japanese. Japanese are very humble to western but arrogant to Asian. My husband asked me "becareful ,don't say hateful things to hurt others" when I told him on the phone I was writting this post. Hope I didn't? If I did, he would spank me. Bobby's wife Emma
10. Hi David, We just got married in Tonliao City June 15th 2006 and sent the I-130 off on the 26th. How do I add this information to my profile page so everyone can see my timeline? 11. My SO specialty is COOKING! Well anything but Chinese fish dishes. Damn all those bones. Her being for Chongqing you don't taste the salt only the hot spices. I've learn not to ask what im eating, as most the time her reply is "I don't know how to say English".... "im thinking thats Bull S" and later she would tell me, Bobby....
12. I agree! They should try sleeping in a rice paddie durning a monsoon. A board feels like heaven compared to that! I don't care where I sleep as long as she in laying next to me.
13. I have bought new bed sheets ,slippers, canvas ,nick-nack and plan buying more stuffs for our home in the States. My husband had to carry them back to the States bit by bit each time when he came to see me. like ants moving. But he doesn't like chinese towels, complains about the thickness. Actually he complains about the quality of all the chinese products, except his wife and step son. Bobby's wife Emma
14. Thanks for your suggestion. I'll remember bring my electric knives sharpner when I move to the States. I feel shame I can't whittle a carrot like a master chef as your wife does. I'll remember bring my shredder tools Thank you again. Bobby's wife Emma
15. We have water mattress here in China. My husband didn't like the idea to sleep on water. But when he came to see me in last Nov.,he changed his mind. he loves this water mattress. We are even thinking move our furnitures to the States. The only thing he complained was that I kept the water mattress too hot.hahaha, he said he couldn't sleep in hot water. But to me, it was warm and comfortable. Emma in CQ
16. Yes I agree, Well said!!! I thank my SO every day for believing in me and trusting me to make her a better life. Even it's stressful and many problems pop up. To see her smiling face and to hear her say "I so happy" makes it worth while. And thanks for those Vets that gave there time and lives, So we are able to do this. thanks Bobby....

19. Im not sure this is the right place for this post I have live alone in this new home for 1.5 years so I guess it's time to start debachelorising. Im looking for ideals on what to keep and what to disregard. Im sure other guys have gone this before. Is there a guide or a list to go by? Are do we wait till she gets here and do this together? Im trying to keep from having those embarrassing moments like "where did this come from, who gave you this, you didn't tell me you had this or why would you keep this.... etc" Thanks Bobby....
