Our CR1 was tiny bit less than a year.....350 days from the day I file to the day she got her visa. But that was two years ago and I'm almost sure the Gummit doesn't have a faster speed than they work at now For us CR1 was the only way to fly, but others will disagree..... It boils down to what suites you and your better half Both have pros and cons The VO's have been know to ask why you didn't marry in China, ect, etc....... Cuz as you may or may not know this visa thingie is anything but fast..... its hurry up and wait and no one is guaranteed a visa yea sooner or later most get there visa Maybe if your in a big hurry, you should think about marrying someone one this side of the ocean....... marry today and home in bed tonight wish you both the best in which ever road y'all take

Have since been repaired, and or rebuilt and one has since retired For you animal lovers and or human rights folks... of course no real animals or people was hurt in these test

I don't think you need go to the US consulate in Chengdu if you get your paper done in the USA. My husband and I got married in Chongqing in 2005. The procedure was very simple if you have the correct documents. Please PM us. My husband can tell you what kind paper you need prepare and how to get it done. Or you can ask your fiancee PM me. Many of the beds in China was hard as rock but many of the places we visited and stayed had nice "firm" comfortable beds. I said many had comfortable... but no all, some have rock beds beats sleepin in one of those rice pattys in VN We have a nice waterbed in China..... the only problem the wifie would keep it to hot for me....... as I can't sleep hot..... Here in the states the wifie sleeps with blanket's while 99% of the time I have to sleep outside the blankets....... Hey I'm not complaining aleast I have my wife in bed with me and now I'm no longer "sleepless in Houston"

Hey jimi I/we have used Ctrip many times 7/8 over the past years in ChongQing and Shanghai..... never had a problem other than they did'nt take my American credit card. But the wifey always had her Chinese card ready. So it was no biggie. As I recall they even brought the tickets to our condo in ChongQing a few times After I landed in Shanghai went up to the Ctrip counter and there was my ticket/s leaving Shanghai for ChongQing. After checking my ID/passport I was handed the tickets and I was on my way to the check points and them my gate # ??? The Ctrip ladies are always smiling, nice, cute amd most spoke English ok..... so it was Chinlish..... once I was given a bottle of water in Shanghai from a Ctrip gal I would have to give those gals...... 2 thumbs up Maybe you should had have your wifie take care of this on her end in China???? And if I remember the price was a tiny bit cheaper buying the tickets in the mother land Have a nice trip and enjoy it..... We can't wait till we can go back to the mother land......... o my God.... those special "Hot Pots" or to die for. and being able to watchng all those tiny hineys as they past on the streets/stores. etc, etc, etc..... makes me hungry thinking bout it again enjoy your trip Bobby/Emma
