When we went to the Indy office to remove conditions last year the staff gave my wife the paperwork for Citizenship and told her her daughter will automatically become a citizen and both can change their names at that time. My stepdaughter will take my last name and will change her first name to Kelly and keep her surname as middle name. The name change is done by the judge that gives the oath. Tine

Lee, For some here the question still catch alot of people flat-footed. But every year more people are siging up to be organ and tissue donors,and there are still many people still waiting for that life saving transplant. But only 3% of people that die are able to be organ donors because they do not have a brain injury to cause brain death such as a massive stroke or head trauma. Tine

Lee, A different side to your story. I work in Organ Transplant for a living so Ella already knew about transplant, and 13 people die each day waiting for a transplant . We went to the license branch and when they asked her the question about donation she told them she wanted to be a total donor because she could not use them after she was gone. I have several Asian donors each year. Tine

Gerald you comments are so true, This is Ella & Kelly's 3rd Christmas here it is such a blessing to be able to have them here with me. It seems like yesterday during the "Black Hole" days during holidays, we did not know when our loved ones would get to be here. Pat, Ella was pregnant at her AOS interview. She had OB Dr. write a letter to Civil Surgeon and it was waived. At the interview no questions were asked for I-693. Tine

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Ella is very happy that the process is complete. You all know how happy our wifes are when it comes to spending money, she was not too happy when I told her it cost 400.00 to apply to become USC. Tine & Ella

Ella received her letter 11/5 from USCIS that her I-751 had been approved, no interview. Now she has appt. 11/10 at the Indianapolis office via Infopass and has to take her and her daughters 2yr GC and take 3 passport photos to the appt. Tine
