  10. I am living in Houston, so I am supposed to send my I-751 application package to: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services USCIS Texas Service Center P.O. Box 850965, Mesquite, TX 75185-0965 by certified mail or priority mail with delivery confirmation. Is this right? Am I supposed to put one $545 personal check in this package, instead of two seperated checks with $465 and $80.
  11. I just past my driving test a month ago. I found a good Chinese driving instructor ( Mr. Chow, a Hongkongnese), he did a good job of teaching me how to drive as far as i am concered. I didn't use him for the written test, but I know he can do it. If you want him do both wirtten and driving test and instruction, there is a package price. If you just want to do the driving lessons, it will be $28/ per hour, half the price of American instructors, I checked several driving schools before I found him. Let me know if you want his cell phone number.
  12. I think you have to go to the nearest social security office to apply one on your own! download a form or get one in the office. then you will get it in 2,3 weeks.
  13. Of course I remember you! And thank you, our baby, Tiger, is almost 3 months old. Hope Ping will come to the State very soon. Sure I want to meet Ping and let her teach me how to drive. Let us know we can get together anytime.
  14. Thanks Randy very much! You and Jiaying are always very helpful!!
  15. I, have the Houston instruction permit, want to learn How to drive, never drove before. Had an appointment with a driving instructor, but he didn't show up, didn't call me!!! Anyone can recommend me a reliable instructor? I am at Westhimer and Kirkwood.
  16. I am using sogou pinyin now, it is much user friendly than windows build-in IME, easier and quicker. I downloaded from: http://pinyin.sogou.com/ . It's good for Vista, XP system. It works very well in my Vista(english version) system. The only problem is this website don't have english version, it's only Chinese.
  17. My husband, on G-325A, only put his American residence in, although he was working in China for over 2 years then. I checked our G-325A copy which is with me now. As I-130, I couldn't find the copy we sent in now. But our residence apartment in China could receive mail, we did receive all the mails from Guangzhou consulate. I belive you can put your mail address with your working address, maybe you can put an other sheet with I-130 to explain it. Good luck.
  18. My husband got his Affidavit of Single Status in Guangzhou Consulate which was both in Chinese and English, we didn't pay any fee for it either. We used it for our marriage registration in China.
  19. For the first time entering into US, your wife has to be in the New Immigrant line (separate line holding the brown envelope). Sometimes there are several flights come in together, the line may be pretty long (20 to 50 people easily ), and everyone has to make the finger prints, the officer will ask you a couple questions at least. I personal wasn't taken to another room for more check, but I heard people were talking about they were taken to a separate room for more check and wait.
