    Ok here is an update. The issues with the email address in the posts Randy and myself posted above are indeed broken. After i just copyed and pasted nvcelectronic@state.gov to my email browser eveything seem to be sent with no errors. Just a few hours ago we received email from NVC stating case numbers have been changed to GZO. Now for another update: I may have found a small loop hole in the sending of the 5MB rule. After this whole mess with the email thing i and reading this guote a few more times i realized it was not saying anything about the email it self but the Attachments need to be below 5MB and says nothing about how many you can send at one time. So i took a chance and sent ALL files i had in One email. Each FILE was 5MB or below. I sent one email for the wife and one email for step son. Each email sent had well over 5MB and closer to 40-45MB but EACH FILE sent in one email was below the 5MB rule.

    OK i just found the problem and this applies to everyone. DO NOT CLICK on the link nvcelectronic@state.gov <- incorrect link on the NVC site it will take you to http://nvcdocuments@state.gov. See the differences between the two? The first one is the one we need. I have been trying for over a week now to send AOS and IV papers and always get an error. Copy and past the link above nvcelectronic@state.gov <- incorrect link and DO NOT click the link on the NVC site: It don't work I just sent wife and step son papers with no errors to nvcelectronic@state.gov <- incorrect link. Very important: Copy and paste the link nvcelectronic@state.gov <- incorrect link to email your documents do not clink on the link. RW - these links are all incorrect also - make sure that the email is addressed to nvcelectronic@state.gov. Cut and paste the address works fine, though, just like Mike says.

    Yes, I have been trying to send for over two hours now and i keep getting the same error. As i said before MY POS server runs better and MORE reliable than the system that is in place now with-in our government. It's a wonder anything gets taken care of with in our system in a timely matter? Really? everyone is always on vacation? No one care....

    Randy please understand i DO! understand this 5mb rule. I have compressed all files below this requirement and I/we still get this error when trying to send to nvcelectronic@state.go Trust and believe i have been studying the NVC site for many month now and i think i know what they want. It's just there email server is crap and don't work. Wow!! Whats new, Our great system works like ?????

    Well after completing ALL! this paper work and converting all papers to PDF. This is the error we now get when trying to sent to: nvcdocuments@state.gov This Fu***ing government we live in can just bit my ass. And this error: As i just said WTF! My POS 1000$ server i run for my home business could run The U.S. better than this crap. OK!! I'm done ranting now? Feel a little better: NOT! Been trying to sent all AOS and supporting documents to the NVC site and the error above is what i/we get. What has our world come to when you/we can't sent a simple email.

    OK DS-260 has been completed and sent online. Now we just need to get all the Civil Documents together. We have everything ready to go but there is one question. Per NVC site: We have current passport photos with us now. Should we just scan two passport photos and save as PDF and send it this way or what?

    Were taking care of the DS-260 as i write this post. There is one question i/we are not sure how to answer. I/We feel this question be answered as YES because by the time of interview wife and stepson will have medical done and vaccinations will also be done. Should we answer YES? Dan: If you feel this topic should be merged with my other topic? Please merge the two together.

    I'm also doing this right now. Even though the NVC site says you can pay both the same day (AOS/IV) NO! you can not. You must pay the AOS fee and wait 3 days before payment clears. I too tried to pay the IV same day and it would not let me. I called NVC and was told that it would take 2-3 weeks to generate the IV bill AFTER the AOS fee clears. I payed the AOS on 10/27/14 and just this week the IV bill showed up on the NVC site. I payed that and waited again for 3 day for payment to clear. After payment clears the DS-260 will show up and can be filed out online. Then after all fees are payed and the DS-260 is filed you then email your I-864 and tax forms and also the supporting documents for the IV application at the same time.

    Oasis china visa is already stateing 10 year visa available to apply. Oasis china visa I just tried to file out the online form and for Application type: it shows Visa - Multiple Entries 10 years validity.

    You don't have to go through all the hassle of renewing it every time you want to go visit. Corerect, Would be good for 10 years and just think of the money saved. I always like keeping my visa valid for the reason my mother inlaw is getting up there in years and ya never know when you might need to jump on a plane at the last minute.

    Yes i seen this news story today as well. Might be interesting to see how this plays out and if there might even be help with marriage visas. It's a start, Time will tell.

    Thanks guys. I think i have figured out what to do. I'm using Nuance Power PDF Advanced. It has a option to optimize pdf files. For example the marriage cert that was 5.76mb. After optimizing the file it is now 644kb and still looks good in email and after printing.

    Well IV payment just show up on the CEAC site for both wife and step son. (payment was made today online) Once payment clears will start the DS-260 online. BTW: AOS fee was payed long ago. We will soon be ready to summit all documents (I-864,tax transcripts and all supporting documents) Now per the NVC for scanning and sending of said documents. Notice it says ONE packet! Then it goes onto say. MUST BE BELOW 5MB The marriage cert alone is 5.76mb and is a PDF. How am i going to sent all these documents in ONE packet and keep them below 5mb?

    I-864 Part 3. Question 1 (YES) Question 2 (???) "I am sponsoring the following family members immigrating at the same time as the principle immigrant named in part 2. Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition." The rest of Part 3 has to do with derivative immigrants, ones who would get derivative visas based off of one petition filing, for example (K-1/K-2 fiancee and fiancee's children, or sibling and sibling's family) HOWEVER further down in part 5 when tallying up household size it has this: #6 "If you are sponsoring any other persons on an I-864 or I-864EZ who are now lawful permanent residents, enter the number here." So the dilemma 1 or 2 I-864s... I probably would do two I-864 forms. Spouse I-864: Part 5, 1(1), 2(1), 3(0), 4(0 or 1?), 5(?), 6(0 or 1), 7(?), 8(3+ any other dependents) Probably list step child as a dependent child on #4 and not on #6 Step Child I-864: Part 5. 1(1), 2(1), 3(0 or 1?), 4(?), 5(?), 6(0 or 1?), 7(?), 8(3+ any other dependents) Probably list as spouse on #3 and not on #6. Once again your the man. Thanks buddy. Well i guess for the 3rd time we will start the I-864 over again. ( No problem, It's only time to there advantage and no rush ) As for the IV bill, It now shows for the wife and can be paid at anytime (We have NOT paid it yet ) and received the email from NVC two days ago. A bit worried why we have not received the IV bill for the stepson. seeing both cases have been following each other from day one with no problems or delays until now? Maybe wait a few more days and then call NVC???

    Well just checked the NVC site and the IV fee bill shows for the wife BUT NOT the step son. IV fee = 325$ do both wife and step pay this amount? Two immigrant visas so there should be two fees. Thanks Dan. What about my other question. DO we need to fill out a I-864 for each (wife and Step son)?

    Thanks buddy, I'll give it a few more days and see what happens. Though the AOS fee was payed late last week and cleared 3 days later. Been trying to call NVC but the phone is always busy. I have sent two emails (Two cases wife and step son) to NVC and will see what happens then. BTW: Welcome back, glad ya had a good time with Carl.

There are two different accounts for this case. (Wife and step son) When we sing into step sons account we get the same problem. (Can't pay IV fee's) We had no problems paying the AOS fee's We also have no problems singing into the CEAC site. This is what we see before the first screen shot i posted above. We click PAY NOW and we get the screen i posted above UPDATE: Went to the NVC web site to get there phone number so we could ask some questions about this issue we are having paying the IV fee's. This was the first thing that showed up on the NVC web site. Tried to call the NVC and all lines are busy.

I click on pay now and it does not show any info (name. relation, or fee) it only shows AOS fee as being payed. Is there something I'm not doing right? Here is a screen shot of what we have been seeing for the past week. We need to pay the IV application fee in order to start the DS-260
