I called DOS this morning and got this information from a very nice lady. Li Hong's interview is scheduled for July 23rd at 7:15. P4 will be mailed today. It has been only been 217 days since I sent the I-129F to our government (a little over 7 month). Not bad considering others on the TimeLine. I hope this is a sign of things to come in the system. If we can just over come the two months in GUZ purgatory. Maybe E-filing will fix this. We will be going to GUZ on the 19th so I can attend ACH on the 20th. I hope to see others from CFL there. Maybe share a drink at the coffee shop. I will be making air and hotel arrangements in the next few weeks, so expect to see questions about where to stay and visa issuing times. It's been a long wait for this day. I hope my 217 days will be an inspiration to those just starting. It wasn't that long I was in their shoes.

Just called DOS and found out Li Hong was Approved for Interview on June 5. They said to call every day to check on interview date. Waseye!

I got in to Beijing Sat. afternoon. We filled out my copy of P3 I got from the internet and mailed it Monday morning to GUZ. We then went to her apartment were EMS delivered P3 at 3:00. WOW! What timing. So our timeline P3 in to P3 out -4 hour,

Yes, Just for a long week, 5/22-6/1. It's our 4th anniversary. I figure I'll be back in late July or early Aug based on others timelines.

I want to send P3 back to GUZ before she receives it in the mail. What do I send them for the EMS mailing label. Is this something we purchase and file out with her address for P4. I looked at FAQ and see reference to it, but I'm not 100% sure what to do. Also for Fed tax return, can I use my copy of the tax returns I mailed with a copy of my W2's or do I need the transcribed from the Fed's?

Oh yes! Need to get up to date pay stubs and make copies of Fed income tax forms. Have a letter from my bank and my work. Lots of pic's and phone records too. We'll be going over all of this on this trip and more when P4 comes.

We should start a GUZ fan club. We sent our I-129F in on 12/17/08 and got P3 mailed sometime late last week or Monday. So we're also on the same time line. Hope to see you in GUZ.

I call DOS this morning and found out our P3 is in the mail too! I headed to Beijing on Friday with P3 forms to mail back hopefully before she receive it. We're folding space and time. Hopefully she'll get interview yesterday. Ha! Ha!

Someone recently attached the short cut to the China medical exam instructions. It looks like there are two places in Beijing to get this done. Any problem with taking care of the exam in Beijing before heading to Guangzhou. Seems like it would take some of the anxiety of getting it done while in an unfamiliar city.

That's true, I wonder how they got two months behind and how long it would take them to get caught up. I think they like it like that or else they would work a plan to get caught up. I wish I could be late at my job by two months. I wonder how it is at other consulate's around the world. The NVC still seems to think they are turning paper work around in a week per the notice they sent me about P3 coming.

I have a letter from my employer I had made when filing the I-129F in Dec 08 but didn't need it. Do you think with current pay check stubs this would still be good? I have been employed here 35 years!!!!

My petition was forwarded to GUZ a month ago. I would like to get my I-134 supporting doc. ready, Letter from my employer and bank statement, to take over to China in May when I'm visiting. Is there a expiration date for these? Her interview probably won't be until Aug.
