ive tried to bring liquor back with me more than once and each time it gets taken. big signs you can not take liquor. one time my mother in law put some in my suitcase without me knowing and the airport guys found it and asked me if this was mine. i said with a straight face.... i guess if you found it in my bag. they took it.

nice Charles. something that happens quite often with me is this. one example, last sunday taitai and i were reading parts of the gospel about prayer, she had a few questions about it. i didnt know how to answer them. i went into my downstairs bathroom that morning after breakfast (as usuall ) and i read my daily bread book which are small devotionals for everyday of the month. anyways i opened up sundays and started to read about how to pray. we later went to church that morning and you guessed it the message was about how to pray. you think God was trying to tell us something. it didnt end there... there was other things that happened the rest of the day as well that my wife and i just looked at each other in amazement. its a great feeling to have God talk to you

Right, the older versions of KingSoft PowerWord are not compatible with WinVista. It appears to be very popular here in China. I notice that nearly all of our Engineers have it running in the background during the day. It makes it easy, as it enables the user to point at any word displayed on the computer screen, and receive and instant translation. it has 3 windows you work out of... my suggestion is to have a native chinese speaker looking over your shoulder when you install it

This is a thread that has been debated before, and I would say the best airline depends on where in the US you are flying from and where in China you want to go. So there is no one single answer here. Just do your research on the internet and find the best deal based upon these two factors. I am in Florida and I fly to Beijing, the only real option for me is Continential to Newerk and then to Beijing. I did this in May and the flight was not only ontime but a little early, the service was very good, and I will do it again in November. Richard i think Richard said it, it depends on from where out of the country you are flyying from. i fly continental everytime i travel there. mainly because of the miles we add up. 4 trips will pretty much pay for the 5th plus continental flys over the north pole over russia and siberia saving about 2 full hours into beijing, unless your flying into hong kong....

any dvd purchased in china will have chinese subtitles. and depending on where you get them they are pretty good quality. most BeiJing or ShangHai stores ive been in you can just ask the store clerk which are dvd quality and which ones are not and he or she will point them out to you. everytime we go home we bring quite a few titles back with us. most are all dvd-rip 720p quality unless its a brand new movie that was just released. be sure not to bring any duplicates back. ive been stopped by customs and they went through each movie title and told me if they find any doubles its means im distributing. the customs guy was even commenting on which movie he liked and didnt like.
