  6. well everyone has heard of chinglish but how many of us use Zhonglish and dont even know it. First off chinglish for those of you who dont know is the language that has been made from asian speaking people (not only chinese) who use english the way they want or think it is supposed to be used. http://img.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2007/11_04/chinglish6DM3011_468x364.jpg so Zhonglish is the way english folks speak chinese. some of the common ones i think everyone uses are Xie Xie (ive heard it prounounced a bunch of ways like she she) some of the ones i mix in with english at my house and even at the company are... ûÓÐ m¨¦i y¨¯u not have Êæ·þ sh¨± fu comfortable ×ß°É z¨¯u ba let's go ·½±ã f¨¡ng bi¨¤n - convenient ·Ç³£²»´í b¨´ cu¨° (it translates extremely not bad but actually means awesome) ʲô what? 8. There are two other things - the Ombudsman and your Congressman. I don't especially want to have to go to court with a Writ of Habeus Mandimus or whatever it is. The infopass pass guy told us that it was on one side of someone's desk waiting to be shuffled to the other (nothing more was needed). The Ombudsman told us that they were approving AOS applications without waiting for the name check, and they wouldn't look at it any further. The Congressman told us the same. So 90 days later, we are trying again, and expect to hear something shortly. i'd inquire again at another info pass appointment . . . uh, okay peace my friend

  10. i will say there are a bunch of fools working at that office 3 out of 4 people dont do their job. let me tell you how i really feel about it so my advice is to anyone in limbo AOS read A#s over and over on all main paperwork to be sure no one made a typo through out her process. basically that was the main issue we had. someone copied her number down wrong from 6606 to 6066 we figured it out in perfect time, 28 months after her arrival, straight to 10 year.
  11. du¨xi¨¨!! Congrats. Hopefully, we're not far behind (been saying that all year) only one thing to say Randy... infopass if it was not for us going over the numbers at the infopass appointments we still would have been in AOS limbo..... we made 4 infopasses the last 6 months we finally got a decent visa officer to help us out and realizing what to do to fix the problem we were in. everyone either literallly laughed at the situation or just would not do anything about her wrong A#'s
  12. Congratulations!¹§Ï²£¡ du¨xi¨¨!!
  13. the envelope marked with no return address came today. she finally got her green card. i guess it was a blessing that it took so long because she recieved her 10 year.... onward to citizenship
  14. i gave my b¨¤ba a real nice utility knife the last time i was over there with the insignia of the company i work for engraved on the side. it was a really nice tool with all the gadgets. anyways he loved it. he travels back and forth from the south all the time so one of the trips he had it in his carry on. yes he forgot it, he told the officers that it was important because his son in law gave it to him and that he really didnt want to loose it. they wrote down all the information and he went on his way. when he got back into beijing he went back to the counter and got his knife back.

  19. it has come to the point of everyone just trying to find something wrong with China.... let it go already all the media is saying there there i knew it all along!!! see!! cant trust um.... they have hired hackers to hack into official chinese documents and admited to it. (i guess thats ok in their eyes) no one would have said anything if she didnt win. i hate the damn media
  20. Perhaps there are times when ignoring such assinine commentary might be appropriate. IMO this wasn't one of those times..... B) I am tired of the arguments about the Chinese girls. They did a great job, and won rightfully so... the better Olympic performers in my modest opinion. I am sad that we did not get gold, but no use crying over spilt milk. we've been watching the games on brighthouse network which is allowing us to see 5 nbc channels including one broadcasted in mandarin. we were watching one of them a week or so back when this topic first came up and Bela Karolyi was giving some interview with Costas about it. he was saying how he could not understand how china would give these young girls the opportunity to be in this position due to the fact the age experience and how the younger girls will not be able to cope with the pressure of a team mate messing up and keeping focus and that he didnt care if they were younger or not. that attitude changed quickly
