3 days ago I noticed a missed call on my work phone... some 202 area code, left no message . Of course I didn't THINK at the time that 202 is DC until 2 days AFTER I deleted the phone number. Now I have no idea if this is related to the CR1s or what. I don't know anyone in DC, don't have any other business in DC except the CR1s. I'm quickly heading into a melt down. No calls or messages on the home phone or the cell. Has anyone received calls from a 202 AC after filing a CR1 ??? I'm about to lose it believing that some bureaucrat has now placed my file in the "Call Back in 90 Days" folder.

We're in the same boat brother. Our papers have the same timeline; sent to TSC, transferred to CSC.

I'd go so far as to say that 99% of our SO's translated documents are in that same format. Just checked ours. They are in that format. What pi$$e$ me off is that even the newspapers print the names of Chinese people in the "Chinese" format.

This came up in another discussion about having close friends of the opposite gender not related to work or family. My wife had a long Q & A with me on this topic last month. The bottom line is she is happy that I do not have a close relationship with a female. She also volunteered that she has no non-family/non-work male contacts. That is consistent with what I had previously read about Chinese culture, but that culture is very much in transition now. My SO is in her mid-30s, perhaps the younger crowd has a different view on this topic. I'm curious about each of your experiences with your SO regarding this subject.
