  3. Good thinking, did she keep it? What kind of food does she feed it?
  4. everyone has their own idea for this, my idea is that two or three representative chats each month would suffice...ours were never even asked for...but i am sure if we didn't have any, then they would be asked for....same goes for e-mail, a couple of representave emails for each month...for the chats, i also used several "print screen" sheets that would show the use of webcam and also dialogue.....VO's are like Forrest Gumps box of chocolates....you never know which one you will get or what questions they will ask or what eveidence they will want to see, so is best to prepare for everything...and even then, there is always that curve ball they may throw at you and ask for something or a question that no one can anticipate....the best advise i can give is that no matter how much stuff your gal takes to the interview, it must be very well organized so that when the VO asks to see something, your gal can produce it very quickly without having to rummage through too much stuff....they are on a short time frame to get all the info from your gal and will not bat an eye by giving a blue or white slip just because of your being disorganized I would agree, a small sample for each month, we had all these and they were never asked for, now we have them for future memories. Wife did a good job to arrange them in several book/folders and it makes a good presentation.

  8. We waited the two weeks, and wife received hers in the mail one week after applying
  9. Did my wife ask you to post that? Perhaps a trip to Mexico, Canada, or the Caribbean...I'd stay out of Mexico though, just my opinion
  10. I do! I do! Ok Billy(insert your name here) please sit down, and next time raise your hand to answer
  11. I am in the same situation, my wife never drove before, she's been here 3 weeks and we've started the practicing. I can see myself in some of the situations you guys talk about, she is learning to drive, I am instructing in English and she is trying to convert my instructions to Chinese...she needs more bandwidth!
  12. Yes she knows that, she is just anxious to have the green card
  13. Open ended ticket, if I recall correctly, I was told from Continental that was not an option for an international flight. Prices have defiantly gone up since my first visit in 5/08
  14. I applied in late May, my wife sent me an invitation letter, copy of her hukou, a copy of her ID card and copy of our marriage certificate which I included with my application, I got the two year multiple entry visa.
  15. Born and raised in Columbus Ohio, a short time in Texas, and now Florida for the past 20 something years...
  16. Disqualified, you can only submit one two words
  17. Well, not knowing exacting what questions will be asked, or in what order a question would be asked, this is a good question. For our interview we had an expanding file folder with labeled tabs, I would ask my wife questions based upon what was in the folder so she could have experience with where the various papers were located. Even if she were to spend 20 seconds looking for a document the VO asked for, (she didn't) that would be better than saying "I don't have that", but I suggest to practice asking questions with her so she is familiar with the kitchen sink.
  18. The Yangs were very helpful to us also, and being prepared with all the documents and evidence pays off with pink if all other factors are accounted for, and there are no red flags that any document wouldn't prevent. Congratulations, this is the quickest blue overcome I have ever heard about, now the best part of the journey begins.
  19. Actually at POE our plane had to wait about 10 minutes to be able to pull up to the gate, we only had about a total of two hours before our flight to Tampa, which was the last one that evening. In China wife told me that I didn't do a good job to pick these flights because there didn't seem to be enough time. We got off the plane and took the long walk to immigration, there was no one else there so we were the fist in line and went thru in about 5 minutes, it's now 6pm and the official lead us downstairs to wait for the final processing of the visa before we could get our luggage, go thru customs, recheck our bags, go thru security, and make our way to the gate. By 6:30 we were still waiting for someone to process our visa's, I had spoken with an official several times and the answer was "you'll just have to wait" from what I could tell they wanted to process K visa's before CR visas. I finally took our boarding passes to the officer and showed him, hoping for some action, he was polite and said he would do them next, he did, and we made it to the gate about 15 minutes before departure. From our interview at GUZ to arriving home in Tampa, this was as bad as it got, and I have no complaints.
