Randy W
I posted this a couple of years ago, from someone else who took drone shots around the Yulin prefecture. Yulin is a prefecture of around 7 million people. Yulin city, where we live, has around 1 million people. The footage from 05:55 on is mostly from our city. Wikipedia says this about his title screen (he uses the Chinese characters for the old name) Wikipedia said: Its Chinese name was changed in 1956 from the historical name 鬱林 (pinyin: Yùlín; literally: "Dense Forest"), which only sounds the same in Mandarin as the current one, but very different in the local dialect of Yue Chinese; 鬱 is uat˥ while 玉 is ȵok˨. The present name is 玉林 Yùlín; literally: "Jade Forest". Edited December 27, 2020 by Randy W (see edit history) Link to comment
