  1. Yeah denied files get put on the bottom of the heap, after all, the assumption is "there must be good reason it was denied "no big hurry, right ?this is their thinking it seems. I guess i should consider my self lucky,My wifes second interview was only about 7 months after her denial. We filed the k3 (or which ever is the spouse visa ).then after her demial we just started up the CR1,which was already at NVC...... she was denied in Oct 2008 (not 2009 as in my original post stated )anyway our k3 denial letter arrived in my mailbox Nov 2009.... it took 13 months for our denied file to make it back to USCIS and back to me for a response. My wife was already here in the USA.I remember when I first seen it in my mailbox,I was like "crap what the hell do these people want now"......I think i threw the letter in the fire and spit on it.....
  2. Hi, I know the heartache of going thru this crap.I thank God this is all a bad memory for my wife and I now.My wife was denied (recieved white )in Oct. of 2009 after 13 months of waiting for her interview.Unfortunately there is no perfect file and in the end one person will decide the fate of two people who may or may not be in love, and God help you if He or She is in a bad mood, the interview results may not be in your favor. how do you document love, all thats being done is documenting events, how many times you been to China...how many times do a couple chat...how many pictures etc.Its said Guz is looking for the bad guys, the truth is the bad guys are always 12 steps ahead of immigrations, and often people who truely are in love, and just want to be together get the blue or white slip, and have to suffer the heartache of being apart even longer, and i know what that feeling is like,i been there.it sucks. 6 months later My wife passed her second interview. The only difference this time...was "time"...more pictures, more emails, yahoo, skype chats, more trips to China and the second interview i went to Guz, I went to ACH,I was asked many questions by the VO about how do we communicate, and it seems at the time this was a big concern(issue of communication ),and it seemed many girls were getting denied for lack of english,at least thats how it seemed.who knows, but i was asked many questions on communication, and I was prepared to address that at ACH.I doubt your wife was denied her visa because shes well educated, but you know who am I to say.All I can say is hang in there, you're at the mercy of Guz,do all they ask,it may take time but you will eventually get your wife here with you.My wife has been here almost a year and half now, there were times i thought it wasn't going to happen but it did.GOd speed to you and your wife. jim
  3. if i am not mistaken,it took my wife about 3 weeks to get her visa.Hang in there
  4. Some breeze right thru the process, and others don't........ to those just begining the process, let not your wife assume she will have it as easy as her friends who have gone thru the same visa process.
  5. Sorry to hear what happened.....Yeah, communication is very important, and while most of us on here know, two people will find their own unique way to communicate to each other,Guz assumes if you both can't speak the same langauage very well, then you must not be communicating, which is idiotic but in the land of Guz,they are without a heart. My wife at her first interview, she had a very nasty VO ....My wife speaks little english, and i think this is a big issue with Guz.At her second interview,I went to the ACH,and spoke to a VO,and he asked me many questions on how do we communicate. My opinion is, the ladies that speak little english, should definetly be in english school while they wait for their interview date, and I think those ladies that speak little english will have to work extra hard to be prepared for their day at interrogation...i mean interview . good luck next time around. Jimi
  6. Please keep us informed if you or anyone gets info....that they are coming to Orlando,my wife needs to get her name changed on her passport,I live in Tampa,I would much rather drive to Orlando than to Houston.
  7. I sent my wife a suntrust debit card thru fed ex with a box full of other things in it(a bit risky but i took a chance),the package did get stuck in customs, and they wanted to know what was in the package.the package did finally make it to her intact. She had no problem using it over in China.I told the bank the card is being used in China, actually my wife is here now in USA and our daughter now has the card over in China.
  8. My wife normally worked long hours,6 days a week, and when it was the busy season, for 2-3 months straight, she worked 7 days a week. The Chinese are hard workers,my wife she had a beautiful apartment, nice modern furniture and appliances,if she wanted something she had to save to buy it,she didn't have credit cards....so off to work she went......and my wife still had time to yahoo chat me,email and go to english school. jimi
  9. Congratulations !!!!!! They're giving out pink rocks now ?
  10. Congratulations to you both !!!! It was last year June 7th,when my wife got pink....boy how time does fly. Jimi
  11. With the way the economy is,finding a job is pretty tough. I think anything in the medical field (nurse,x ray tech, etc..)is good.I am in the Dental field ,we are doing great (this is our best year since being in business for 7 years ).X wife is the medical field, she seems to be doing good also......my wife now, she works in the hotel, very, very hard work, but her english is still not that good. She plans to go back to school.I think improvements in english will obviously always help in getting a better job. Jimi
  12. Good Luck !!!! i been down this road,my wife was denied the first time K3....her second interview CR1 last June she passed.First interview was an interrogation, second time around she had a pleasant VO,and was a very simple interview.I did go to Guz for the second interview, whether this made a difference or not is anybodys guess. Good luck !!!!!!!
  13. Well if i say "i will pray for you"it means just that,i will put you in my prayers,.....as far as praying....or having someone do something for you....sometimes theres nothing a human can do,but pray, take for example a friend who is terminally sick, thats where one would pray and hand it over to God.....as far as evil and good.....we can all pretend that evil doesnt exist, but unfortunetly it does exist, just read the newspapers, history books,a look in the mirror.true I think all people have good in them, but at the same time also have bad in them, just the nature of the beast........ "creation absorbing you " i think you watched Avatar too many times Haven't see the movie yet... but I was caught up in very conservative christian circles for too many years to see the problems they impose on mankind. Some like to preach "evil" and keep people under their message of control. For a nation which espouses so much freedom, they are willing to imprison people emotionally (with guilt) and the spiritually (with worship). I'll have no part of that anymore. There is no reason why man is evil but the environment, nature, a rock, tree, flower, food, animals, etc are not. Man is the smallest speck of the universe; time to accept that. And in the midst of that, give thanks concerning our small part. We get caught up in believing life is about us... Life is for all things. Just a man's opinion; less than a dust speck among the universe. David, I didn't know you were once a Pharisee... I lived in a hurricane and experienced an earthquake, and i tell you what, nature can be a bitch. I do agree man is just a small part of this big universe, and for me that is exactly why i became a christian...because i felt life wasnt all about me,there was someone...something greater than me...some look at the creator, and some look at the creation.I am perplexed about the whole guilt thing you bring you up about christianity? jimi

  15. Hey Tsap Seui, you know being that you are planning it to be just right,2 years and all....The government will probably screw you over once again, you will get the quickest turn around ever recorded( from filing, to Guz interview ) ......anyway,wishing you all the luck.My wife recieved CR1 at her interview, then came to USA via NEW YORK after our 2 year anniversary, and recieved the IR1 ,for 10 year green card . jimi
  16. Congratulations !!!!!!!
  17. Hmmm.......well i can only speak for my self,I think Americans like to think of others as honest, that is true,But speaking for my self,I do not trust the government....absolutely not !!!!!!! I noticed you used the word "want" to trust(others)and the government, and I think yes that is true to a certain extent, but at the end of the day, many if not most Americans will tell you they do not trust the government.......the trusting "others"....i think that is true americans want to trust others.
  18. She is correct. They will not change the passport for a name change. They will put a statement in one of the observation pages that reads, "The bearer of this passport is also known as (put your so's name here)." This can be done at the Chinese consulate who oversees your district. My wife had to fly to Houston for passport renewal ($60) with H-1 form and was told prior to flying there that she could fill out an H-2 (add $10) to add an "Addendum" with married name to passport and when she arrived there with two money orders ($60 + $10) she was told "no" on the addendum. Don't know why? Hmmm.....something told me this was not going to be an easy thing to do.
