  2. Make sure to partition your hard drive(C:,D:,E:) and don't save your data in the window drive. If possible, install Partition Magic and back up your data before format your drive.
  3. i don't like Njstar. download Microsoft PinYin instead. it's free too. also, for reading, just install the asia language package from WinXP CD.
  4. just talked with my wife. she finally picked p4 outside of GZ consulate. they scheduled her at 10am to pick up, but came out after 11. she waited over 1 hour in the rain...
  5. i didn't get response from my last email to GZ concerning the lost p4. i think when you select "other" as category, it will take much longer for them to reply..
  6. I heard it's most dangerous to the young kids under 10 years old. Also, the vaccine is available i think.
  7. Ater reading Tony's message, i feel a little better now... still nervous though...
  8. After reading what SleepingDragon wrote, i am so scared... Now, i really wish i could be there with her.. but we received the interview date only 2 weeks prior interview... and now only 6 days left till... what happens next if not passed the interview...??? (don't want that to happen..., but....can't stop thinking about it)

  16. Sarah and owen, Thank you so much for your help.
  17. "Each visa applicant aged 16 years or over is required to submit a police certificate from the police authorities of each locality of the country of the applicant's nationality OR current residence where the applicant has resided for at least six months since attaining the age of sixteen." above is the instruction from the package#3. look at that big "OR". it's so confusion.
  18. just visited the GZ website, the info is the same as owen said. however, it can be interpreted differently. Since my wife worked in DongGuan for 3 years and our interview date is in 2 weeks, i think we are in trouble if we have to have Notarial police certificates in DongGuan.
  19. I read the Interview requirements in source&link section. Owen wrote "Notarial police certificates are required from each visa applicant aged 16 or over issued by his/her local municipal notary office where he/she has resided for at least six months since attaining the age of sixteen. " However, the instruction on my wife's P3, it says the Notarial police certificates is only for beneficial's current residence if he or she lived there for longer than 6 months. This is my interpretation. Please give me some feedbacks. Also, do I need to make copies for three most recent years' tax returns?
  20. I think it's better to call the travel agency. their price is cheaper than ones i found online
