Thanks, Donahso. I am not sure what's in p4 for K-3 visa. My wife is been calling GZ for 2 days, but couldn't get through. I just send them another email to ask what we should do if we couldn't get the p4 in time.

My wife's interview is in 2 weeks, but we still didn't receive the P4 yet. What should we do??!!

If you live in NY, it would be great because of the local access #. I always use the phone card from Tigercool.com. Besides the phone card, they also sale chinese movies, books, softwares, and magazines at a very low price. Check it out.

I was worried about this too since I started to apply K-3 for my wife. I did send a couple of post card to my wife to test and surprisingly they all arrived safely. I think for every residence neigborhood, there is a small group of retired people in charge of mail and other stuff like this.

Thanks!! I am too excited to work today(didn't get any work done). GZ did mention they send p4 by express mail, so it should be fast and secure. We'll wait for 2 days before calling GZ. Since the interview is in 2 weeks, i don't think i could make to my wife's interview. i'll pray for her on the interview day.

seems to me after the name check is done, it will take them 4-6 weeks to schedule the interview date. much better then 3-5 months stated on their K-3 website.

This is a very good way to start the summer. Yesterday, I routinely send an email to GZ to check the interview date and p4. Today, they replied me with the actually interview date!!! what a surprise. However, we still didn't get the p4 yet and only 14 days till the interview.... I quote their email below: "Dear Sir or Madam, We scheduled the interview date for the applicant on 26-JUN-2003 08:30 a.m. The interview notice was sent to the applicant by express mail recently. guangzhouiv" For couples whose name check was done in May, I think GZ already issued the interview date. tparrent, At least you have a typed new address from your wife now instead of scan the bad handwriting one from the restaurant.

Good point. Since the new GZ email system only has a message text box, i don't think you can attach the image to there... The only thing i could think of right now is to send them the email old way without using this new form. Make sure on the subject put 'Change of Address' and put your GUZ# there. hopefully, they will open the attachment and update your wife's new address. Keep sending them the same email until they reply you. good luck!

tparrent, ask your wife to type it in chinese in Word and do a screen copy by hold the Ctrl+PrintScrn key!! then paste the image in the paint or other graphics software and resave it or change the size. why go through all the trouble in the chinese restaurant??!! If they write it wrong, it will cause more trouble for you and your wife. it's very easy to do. let me know if you have any questions. Good luck. Tony

i send another email asking GZ when is my wife's interview date. they replied me the same way as two weeks ago. Quote: "Dear Sir, Based on our current schedule we will schedule the applicant for an interview in about two months. Guangzhouiv" ... it's already been one month since the name clearance... wondering why some received their p4 in 2 weeks after name clearance..

Just received the reply from GZ about the I-129F expiration issue. Quote: "Thanks for your email. We will extend your I-129F on your interview date. Yours Sincerely, The Immigrant Visa Unit" funny thing is I still don't know when is my wife's interview date...

is it possible just send a personal check over instead of using western union? i remember i send a $8,000 check to my wife a year ago and didn't have any problems.
