Dan, you don't need no stinkin' therapy. You need to meditate and chant. In Australasia they call the wife SWMBO (she who must be obeyed). I often sit crossed legged with the thumb and index finger of each hand together in a circle. I close my eyes amidst wisps of smoke from sage, saffron, and Mary Jane wafting throughout the room as I chant over and over again....She who must be obeyed...OMMM....She who must be obeyed...OMMM...She who must be obeyed...OMMM When I get those awful uppity thoughts that I may actually be in control of my life...I just stop, find a place to meditate and chant. I am almost completely free of thoughts that I am in charge, and I've pretty much forgotten what it was like to own my own companies and be in charge of employees I find it is much easier to let SWMBO do the thinkin' for me.I also find I make much fewer mistakes when I do as I'm told, too. It is a win win once ya get used to it. You can have a very happy life, man. Stop fighting the inevitable just let go and do as yer told, you'll be amazed at the newfound tranquility.

Mick taught me long ago about the pleasures to be had from large blow up critters. A challenge to mount, but oh what a happy ending.

Doc, after a good pressure warsh, I have sent my 18 foot tall latex giraffe in yore direction. It takes two blow up stumps to git yoreself into position. One blow up stump leads up to the one that you actually stand on during yore performance.. A lil' daunting but highly rewarding. Enjoy....it also comes with a handy parachute should you lose yore perch on the higher blow up stump while in the throes of ecstasy, and fall.

We just had an Italian feller out yonder in Lost Wages sing love songs to us in our gondola as he pushed us through the waterways inside the Venetian Hotel. Okay Wenyan our bump check list please.... 1.) Cheap plane tickets bought by the cheapest Chinese woman alive in America? CHECK, we have them. Regular $250 each, Delta agent gave us $74 each, and, two round trip tickets...... after much ear bending by Chinese haggling expert....or maybe that was Chinese abuse. At any rate, NO ONE bought a ticket cheaper. 2. Plane starts loading at 3:30, we will arrive at the gate 3 minutes before it closes the loading process. CHECK...our rehearsals went well. 3. Large obnoxious tourist hat that says..."You don't have to beat me to bump me, baby" CHECK....bought it from the Farmers Supply store yesterday.

Dan, I can't say I ever had a bad experience with United either. I think the guy should get his $200,000,000 payday for his attorneys to divvie up but am I buying into the outrage and innuendo? Nah, why in the world would I? It's not like some boss at United called the cops and said, "Hey boys, we got this goofball Chinese guy in 21C. Would you go up there, beat the living shit out of him, then drag his bloody ass down the aisle, for us?"

It answers a lot of the questions that non-frequent flyers really have no clues about, until they see a dramatic incident like this. I was once working in a convention in Las Vegas. I had to leave on a late flight for LAX where I was catching a United flight down to Sydney to meet up with the down under team to work a show in Brisbane. We finished up that evening in Las Vegas and I raced out to airport for the short flight to LAX where I'd catch the last plane out for the evening for Sydney. The plane in Las Vegas is delayed because of instrument reading problems. We got to LAX late and I ran with all of my might to the gate for Sydney. Got there with 5 or 10 minutes to go...and found I had been bumped...because I got to the gate late. My cattle class seat had been given away. I was distraught. Until The folks at the United gate desk gave me vouchers for an additional $800 worth of flights, put me up in a great hotel room, and ...drum roll please.....I spent the almost 16 hour flight to beautiful Sydney in a luxurous LARGE first class seat. As much as I flew back then I am lucky that is only one of three of four times I got bumped, usually because of late connections. Each time iwas WAY more than compensated than Iever thought I would be. Hell, that first class seat to Sydney ran over $7 grand, Ithink. I never bought one before. I got very nice rooms, and I generaly got at least $800 in flight vouchers...which I generally used right up. Bumped It happens and it is highly legal and within the rules. It sucks. Only a fool fights the rules of the law. A RICH FOOL THAT IS....this character is gonna make a killing in damages from United. And think of the book deal....va va voom!!!! He hit the lottery. He was nobody's fool. Me, I have always tried to book United first when I was flying more than 10 hours away from the west coast. I'll try even harder to book United flights. There should be fewer people to put up with on each flight, too. Yummy!!

As a combat assault chopper pilot I found many times that......doing the right thing is often not as easy task. Thank you for doing the right thing, Randy. The only important aspect of the outcome of this interlude in an otherwise good thread is...the rule up above in red is upheld and respected. A level playing field for all.

Yesterday afternoon I picked my wife up at Dulles Airport, outside DC. She flew 14 1/2 hours to come home from China, on United Airlines. I use them to go down under to NZ and Aussie land on my/ now our trips down under. I used them to go to China 7 times and my wife has flown back home to see her folks 3 times since she came to America. In 20 plus years of my using United for going to far off destinations, and in my wife's 10 years on United, I must say, between us, we've only been dragged kicking and screaming off of 3 flights...now that is out 300 plus take off and landings on United planes. Not a bad record. Can someone cue up the Marine Hymn to play in the background as people read this post?

Yep, I thought, it either has to be the president's fault because of his racism and his raw hatred, or else them pesky Russians he calls friends hacked into United's data base and picked this guy for "re-accommodation". Who knows, but we know it had to be one or the other.

We never had a post like Allon's , crude attempt to flame a political party and everyone who even voted for that candidate, to stay posted like we are seeing right now. Never saw our former president or even the one before him get flamed and it left on by our moderating squad. Is the current president just fair game if you or Allon don't like him? Yeah buddy, this so called "building" racism and hate crap is nothing like the media is trying to jam down our throats. Political agenda, political agenda, political agenda. My wife was once harassed by a couple of older white women in this hotel she work at for about 3 weeks. She got angry bit instead of crying foul with racism or hatred, she just bought the damn hotel. I helped her turn it into apartments and now they pay her rent. Heck, even little incidents of anything close to being racism or hatred are damn hard to find in the America that I roam. Maybe it is all out there in Nevada or Arizona, some place. It is just so rare. Wenyan seems to attract men who want to chat her up when I'm not with her, or to take those sneak second looks at her twisty thrashin' (looks like two cats in a bag fighting) hiney as she does that immortal Chinese woman strut that only they can do. . Great idea Randy. We all know ol' Allon lost his train of thought and posted a link that he would normally have posted on CFV. Allon's post was completely fine, just his link to a HIGHLY extreme far sided political group with an unfounded article by a guy man with a grudge who portrays our president AND all of the population who voted for him as racists and hate mongers. We all know Allon's "proof" came from SPLC now, Randy. Why not just cut n' paste the one paragraph in the SPLC article that doesn't slander the sitting president and everyone who voted for him as hate mongerin' racists, and post that? Everybody wins..... 1. Allon was successful 2. We lose the slanderous political link 3. and most importantly..Candle is no longer besmirched and besotted with the type of a post that was so commonplace on the other board, who allowed political posts...and no longer exists. Will that work, Randy? Can you do that? Candle is WAY above this nonsense. A great job has been done in the past by all of you guys to not have this sort of political agenda stand when it was posted. Did you read the trash on Allon's link? Candle didn't used to allow this sort of posting. Once upon a time another board gave political posting and bashing a try...I think it was the last man standing who turned out the lights and shut the door. We don't need that hateful crap on Candle...slandering EITHER SIDE is bullshit . Or at least it should be.
