We had one that was filed with the I-129 and a short, updated one that was handed to the VO with my passport when Ling first stepped up to the window for her interview.

Proceed with what???? I didn't do this. This is the second time they've contacted me for reasons they've invented out of thin air. I called and said I didn't do this. They apologized. Who knows what further delay this will add. I already filed a G-28. That's why I was able to talk with them today (although only after they talked to Ling first and got her verbal permission--so much for the G-28). Infopass: I went online to try and schedule an infopass appt. The webpage only gives three reasons for appts: None of the three apply but I clicked on #2 as being the closest to why I wanted to talk with someone. The next screen said: I don't stress over the waiting. I am angry over twice having delays because some moron is entering false information into our file. Don't stress? You want to be the one to try and explain to Ling 20x every day why her work permit isn't in the mail??????

And the whole time they're "checking" to decide if she is safe to allow to be here, she's still here.......MORONS INDEED!

First the damn RFE for information that was already sent with the application.......... Today we got a letter acknowledging our request to change our address saying they will hold the application process until we submit an AR-11 to properly change our address. One little problem: We didn't send any frickin' request to change our address! In fact we've been (not so patiently) waiting and have not contacted them for any reason! I just got off the phone with USCIS and they apologized for the error and promised to send us a letter of acknowledgement within 45 days. 45 DAYS???? It takes 45 days to write a note that says, "we're sorry we made a mistake." ???? Is our case going to be put on hold for another 45 days before it resumes its path through the process????? We are both very pissed right now. In light of the obscene PM's I've been being flooded with, I'd almost suspect this a-hole somehow got Ling's case number and sent in the address change just for sh!ts and giggles........ Hmmmm.....I see it's also now been 14 days since my last email to GZ in reference to our K2 interview request with no response...... @$^$%&^*%^*^%#&

The same here, Curt. My wife drinks nothing but warm water all her life! That's amazing to hear! I love telling the nurses this when they ask initial questions about my wife at a doctor's appointment. I like seeing the look on their face!...lol! They ask the routine questions; does she smoke?- I say NO; does she consume caffine?- I say NO, she hasn't even drank a coke! only water! The look I get from this is priceless!... Yes, Ling won't touch soda of any kind either. "CO2 takes away bones".... She likes American fresh milk but won't drink it until it's been properly heated. Hot water is her primary drink--will rarely even touch tea-- "bad for blood"....

Ling doesn't like cold water or anything cold any time of the month.

I attended ACH on a Friday before a Thursday interview so not much different before. But this way only the Monday interviews have to eat Saturday & Sunday for ACH so it is an improvement for every other day.

Our bank (Wells Fargo) just asked for two pieces of I.D. to open an account for Ling. We used her Chinese passport and her English-translated birth certificate from our interview kitchen sink. We used the same I.D. at DMV to first, get an Oregon I.D. card which has since been replaced with her driving learners permit.

Well, it looks like we will have to follow Lee's formula. We received an email back requesting a DS-230 and OF-169. The letter was poorly written (apparently by Chinese staff--the English is rough) with a bit of room for interpretation so I sent another note quoting them, re-describing our status as I understood it, and asking for clarification. Her grandfather will not be able to accompany her to Guangzhou until late October so we have plenty of time to get this right. Thanks for the link Lee. We'll prepare the exact same set of papers tonight and have them ready.

Well I, as only one American male, can honestly say I've never worn any panties in my entire life.

We've had a couple of big financial hits recently and I've been pretty upset at times. My dear Ling just keeps saying, "No matter. We don't need money. Only health and family are important." After 10 years of crappy dating with women who always ended up showing that money was most important to them, my beautiful wife just melts my heart every day.

Ling is always pulling a hair to floss. I keep asking her to use the floss but..........she will have beautiful teeth and healthy gums but bald--oh well.....

Today we have emailed GUZ to ask for an October interview for Ling's daughter. I've asked for a date and info on any additional paperwork we may need to provide/bring to the interview. I'll keep you posted as to what kind of answers we receive.
