Imagine, if it were someone else asked u to delete another person's account becoze he felt his fiancee got personal attack by the guy, would u make the decision so soon? I suggest we sould have a vote on issue like this to make people feel that candleforlove is a place where we can talk what's on our mind. I agree personal attack is harmful to the forum here, however we're humanbeing, we are not perfect enough to be as neutral as God. Hi Dave, I'm shocked to know abt the splitting of u and Sarah. Since we had the similar timeline of visa application and my husband shares the same of urs, we feel like we are already frs with u. Falling love might be easy while living with each other is not easy at all. It's very sensible that u leave each other a turn-around way to save this love. U know what, when I was hesitating abt going to be join a Stardford nite school program becoze I didn;t think I was good enough, my husband told me "Just try ur best." This old fat guy seems to have his own reasons to worry abt his fiancee's motive abt marrying him. since he's not so confident abt himself and keeps doubting abt his gal's love towards him. Somehow, I feel offended by this post as I am a Chinese gal and I live with my honey now in CA. My honey told me abt "someone writing to him personally abt re nuptial stuff "and he thinks it's funny and meaningless to even have that idea. The way my honey talking abt "we, our home, our dog and us" makes me love him more and more. As a "cute young Chinese gal", I feel I'm very proud to hold my honey's hand in public here coze love doesn;t not have to be notorized.

Too bad , james. I went to my visa interview yesterday and the visa officer asked me questions like "why u are interested in him, why he is interested in U? What does ur father think of ur relationship.." Pretty weird questions, fortunately I passed, however, I do not think those questions are very professional.

The film is so big and not easy for packing at all. I'm asking for advice for people who have passed the interview. Is it necessary to bring the film???

Thanks for all the people here! We're very happy abt it too. However fm 001 I saw both yesterday and today there were people got their visas denied. (K3 mostly). Sigh... And also there are guys cancelled their cases, sorry to hear that. I just hope everyone here could hold on ur love firmly until ur visas. Let's believe in the power of LOVE!

U are already lucky to get the word "very soon" in ur letter. Last week when GZ replied my email saying they would schedule me an interview in 1 or 2 months, and this week it changed to "2 months later"!!!!! I am depressed, why they change their own words all the time?

After 1 month's close observation of SARS situation, Dave made the trip fm CA to Shanghai then we flied to Lijiang-Yunnan and had a wonderful vacation there. (due to SARS, almost no tourists there). Well, first, we didn;t travel to seriously infected areas like Beijing or HK, second, we kept watching the news not only fm WHO and China but also CNN. If u look at things fm both sides, u will find more truths. We evaluated risks and we made cautious decisions. Dave was back last Wed. in CA and currently he's under "quarantine period"-10 days back home. (too bad he's bored) Bon Voyage!!(things getting much better now here...)
