Robert, I called DOS about 4 days after NVC out and found that the P3 for us had already been sent. Our problem was that it was delivered to her Fathers house and she did not answer the call when he called to tell her it was there....so we did not know for a week and a half . Iwould call tomorrow and just see. when you dial you do not have to listen to all the talk...when they answer just hit 1 and then 0 that will put you to a person. they will ask for your GUZ case number and then after about 15 seconds they will ask for you SO name and then yours.....then they will give you what info they have.

The DS 156....2 copies in English and 2 in Chinese...I understand this. Do they send the Chinese form with the english???? or do we have to download them? Also...I read that the DS-156 is an electronic form????does she need to fill this out online and print 2 copies or just fill out what is sent in the packet?? Don't want to screw up this late in the game

Two of each, in our case I visited the cnsulate for ACH and I asked if Chinese forms are needed if my fiancee is ok with English, the VO told me that doing just the English DS-156 is fine. Others have indicated that they were requested to provide both versions. ok..2 it is. Thanks

The is a town here in the Atlanta area where it is the LAW. Every home is by law supposed to have a gun. Kenesaw has one of the lowest crime rate in GA. Not sure if everyone follows the law but......the low crime rate speaks for itself

Ok since her interview is on Monday December 7th. What day should she arrive in GUZ to make sure she has plenty of time for Medical exam? Is there anything else she must do while there before interview? Thanks Robert

Finally. I called DOS today. P4 was sent today and interview is on December 7, 2009 . Can not wait to tel her later tonight.

I was wondering if it is true that GUZ only sends out P4 in the first week of the month. My SO read this on another forum and I was just wondering. If this is true then I am guessing they will send out in first week of December for Jan. interviews. I was really hoping for a December interview Robert

My SO was telling me about 2 months ago about a man that worked for the same company she does was arrested for the rape and murder of 5 woman. It never even made the ocal news in Xiangtan. If that had happened in this country it would have been known round the world in matter of minutes. We do not always hear about what goes on in other countries...especailly China and Russia.

It figures.......We resent yesterday and I called today and they FINALLY received our original P3 and are waiting on interview date . I hope the interview date does not take 2 months . I know how my luck goes.....if we had not sent in the second P3 they would never have received the first one

Robert, I don't know if this would actually help but you could email White Swan Hotel (in Chinese) and ask the staff when they forwarded your package to the consulate. At least, you would know where your package could be. We should have..but they lost the P3. I am still hoping but I am not sure that it will happen since we resent yesterday, might not be enough time. My SO reads several forums and has only seen 1 interview for December and that is December 1.

In my opinion, people who feel like a faceless number, like no one notices them or cares, are more likely to act in heinous, anti-social ways. IMO, the reason for this is the many diverse cultures we have here. Each culture is afraid of the other and stays to themselves. I remember a rather large antisocial group back in the 60's and 70's called the hippie generation. I don't recall many mass shootings back then. They were all stoned and living on love. No need for guns.
