  1. Since she already has an approved tourist VISA is it even possible to amend it to a K1 before she leaves for the USA? that way there would be no fraud. Or, do we let the tourist visa run it's course, she goes back to Manila and we do the K1 routine?
  2. And yes, I am the American citizen.
  3. I didn't mean to be rude. My marriage to Guangzhou in actuality ended 6 or 7 years ago. I am just not starting to feel alive again.
  4. This one is coming from Manila.
  5. Either way I won't endure the infamous I-601 process again.....lol NH
  6. She is a comptroller of some kind within her local government.
  7. She is coming into LAX on business for her job. Things could happen in CA.
  8. If a marriage takes place there will be the start of green card process but it's my guess based on my ex wife's BS that a lot of it will have to do with the specific visa that she already has.
  9. Or, how much will things be complicated because there was no K-1?
  10. If a lady enters the USA on a visitor's visa and marries an American citizen while here on that visa, do we have to worry at all about the lack of a K-1 visa?
  11. This whole thing is still odd for me because she and I are planning to dissolve our relationship.
  12. Ok, this is somewhat of an emergency question here. Mei has another appointment for her interview on 12/07/2015. She wants to reschedule it to have more time to study the English vocabulary words. She has a good handle on the civics portion of it but doesn't feel comfortable with the vocabulary words listed in the book she got at the USCIS office in Norfolk. HELP!!! How the heck am I supposed to get this one done for her? HELP!!!
  13. Mei went to Norfolk this past Wednesday for her "interview". It definately didn't go well at all. In this case she had a young black woman to conduct her interview. If I didn't know better I'd swear that the infamous "Black Betty" from GZ is in Norfolk now. According to what she checked off on her evaluation sheet she didn't think Mei was able to speak, read, write or understand English well enough. Maybe it's because we've been married for 14 years now but it's probably a damn good thing I didn't get to speak to that female afterwards. There was/is nothing additional on the form to say what to do next or when to do it. Nothing at all. I have no idea whatsoever what to do next. We went through so much as some of you may remember just to get her back over here and this latest deal simply pisses me off. In short, I feel tapped. I have no more to give for this effort. All the way back to Richmond on I-64 Mei kept going back over the civics questions and listening to the audio cd that she irritated the hell out of me. Since we've been back home she has been a total pita. I'm done, where's the fork? I can count on one hand the words she has said to me in English since we got back as if this thing is entirely my fault. Maybe that's why or at least a part of why I feel so tapped out. Of course the "Little Emporer" (soon to be 29) is still at home. I honestly believe that he is maybe /not all of course but a big part of why she did not pass her test. Since he has been here since 07/2008 whenever both of them are at home there is only one language used and it isn't English. Yes, I've mentioned that to him several times and his response is always that he uses Cantonese because it's easier for his mother. Well guess what sunshine? Your idea sucks a big one! Look how it turned out! Thanks for letting me rant for a bit. I just honestly do not know which way to turn or when. Like I said, I'm done.
  14. It's amazing how Mei thinks I can remember every little detail about the bs we had to go through and sometimes I'm lucky to remember my name...lol
