Today Yan went to biometrics for the 10 year green card. Outside of the upper NY state winter weather traveling to Buffalo things went fine. While Yan was being fingerprinted I walked up to the window and talked to an immigration person. I showed her the extention letter and asked about Yan returning to china in another month. They assured me that with that letter she would be able to enter an U.S.POE with no problem. I mentioned that some people had trouble using that to board an aircraft in the past. She proceeded to mention that Immigration was aware of this problem (as severe problems that face an airline for allowing a passenger to board a flight without a valid visa and passport) (what prompted this lately ?)And that some airlines were not allowing people to fly with the letter smoothly. So after Yan was done with finger printing she took Yans passport and stamped a page with the I-551 . She said we still should carry the I-751 letter with us when we leave the country with the expired 2 yr green card. So she is good to go. On another note. She mentioned we have a NEW A number on the extention letter. How our government works. So the old A number will do us no good if we want to find how the case status is online. I never looked to match the two A numbers up The last thing is she said when the NEW 10 year green card arrives we should return the OLD 2 year expired green card back to her office . (By mail was fine) As people had both green cards in posession when trying to enter the country and had a problem at the border for having both. I have no idea if the computer system showed the had not returned expired one. Anyway they NOW desire the expired 2 year green card one back.

Hey you are not alone I pay 370/week in child support plus 500/month (dont ask long story). I pay half of all my kids activites/summer camps etc; almost 300/month She lives in the house (all 5000 sq feet of it) we had togather. She and the kids went on a cruise this year and were supposed to go to Aruba for Christmas but that got cancelled. When Fen gets here we are going to rent a big ass 500 sq feet studio. And oh next year my daughter goes to college and I have to come up with half her tution. Anyone want to buy a kidney or something? Yan has gone on QQ and a big complaint with a new chinese wife is their standard of living when compared to the ex. 5000 /sq ft VS 500 sq ft. For the first year of marriage you will not hear anything.......then look out . It is even worse if present wife works and all her paycheck is sent to the ex.

A gps is in order. Yan gets very confused and lost quickly. Maybe it is because she is just riding shotgun rather than driving.Also yan refuses to drive on the expressway. Even at a time where there is no traffic. Back country roads are just her speed.

I was doing a final check of the paperwork to e-mail the required documents. On the divorce certificate is one birth date and on the birth certificate is a birthdate for a month earlier. It seems Yan and her ex desired to enroll their son into school a year early. So they changed his birth date on his hukou. Thus when we went to have a birth certificate made out by the notery. The date is of the one on the hukou. Divorce papers show one month later. Opinions on should we write a letter pointing this out or maybe just let it slide. I know a bit strange

Today we received our GZO number.We have paid all the fees and have the receipts showing fees paid. All the paperwork is done ,all the documents divorce certificates ,police records ect are in hand.In a day or two I will write a cover letter with the new GZO and Have everything made into a PDF . Is the next step just e-mail pdf file to the NVCGUZ...state.gov or do I have to wait for a letter asking for this information. After they receive everything we still will have a P-3 sent to us correct?The document with the fees paid has the old case number on it. Will this will be fine to use?

Maybe our president used this trip to encourage the chinese to give a lesser sentence. Then we can waste millions of dollars on a trial. I would be in favor of just letting the chinese take care of him.

This would be fantastic. At Chinese universities there are people from Korea, Japan, England, Indonesia, African countries... but there are hardly any Americans. Perhaps China could help out by lowering or subsidizing tuition, which is a lot higher for foreign students than for Chinese... has to be a 2 way street Very true, but our universities already have tons of Chinese, and for good reason: the quality of the education and value of the degrees are generally higher in the US. Much of this I would think has to do with the percentage of chinese students who are fluent in english vs american students who are fluent in chinese.

I ordered mine 11/9 and they sent out them on 11/12 and I recieved them on 11/14 in the mail. I called them on the phone to request them. This was called a "record of account". A few months ago I ordered tax transcripts for earlier years and it did take almost 2 weeks to receive them. They came as "tax transcripts" in the heading.

Now you can start a nice life with each other.

I have other years with "tax return transcript" across the heading. This says" record of account" It is a little bit different format Yes I do have a long return of about 55 pages that I received from my cpa.
