My Yu failed on the third try and had to retake the classroom training in-order to be able to take her 4th, 5th and 6th road test, the 6th was a charm. I'll tell ya somethin.....I was thinking my wife would do the same but through some miracle, she passed. Funny thing, the drivers license bureau is located in a shopping mall. After we left, the mall had the power cut off for non-payment. Great news. Congratulations !!

Sounds like she's flying China Southern, Charles. This is standard operating procedure with CS, as they will hold back flights if they don't have a full plane. In the future, book your tickets with this SoCal Chinese agency who will email you immediately if/when there's a change in CS schedules. You have to be careful with those things - I got in an infinite loop once when it kept telling me to turn down a road that was barricaded. Every time I went past it, it would just direct me back to where it was. Yes, but from where we are... it is right... if she took the left, it would have took her to a road that was right... not sure why she has the thing.

I made reservations for my wife to go to China in Janurary... they changed the reservations 2 times.... the latest change was for her flight from LAX to GUZ... she was supposed to fly out 10:30pm SAturday.... they changed her flight to Guz to 10:30 pm Sunday... 24 hours later... unbeleivable... I'm on the phone for 1 hour with them just now, and we disconnect and the person doesn't call back. Very frustrating. They say they can only return 3 legs of the flight money... ie, flight on return from LAX is with a different carrier so they won't return this money. I'm will to deal with that, but of course my wife won't go for that, so we are running out of time... she won't listen to me. Ok, I got it out... back on hold for who knows how long.

Same thing with my wife... she doesn't rememeber anywhere she goes... it once took her 1 1/2 hours to get home when it was only 20 minutes away. She refuses to follow the GPS. I have the avoid highway feature turned on. She goes to 3Timescharms house good enough now, that where she was coming home from when she got lost. He gave her a map. I asked why didn't you use the GPS... she said it kept telling her to make a left... Not sure why she didn't want to take the left. I'm afraid to teach her to drive on the highway. She says she can drive fast now She has been driving her car for about 11 months. Her car is a 1999 Toyota Altima, drives pretty good. So far, so good.

I've had comcast for 4 years with ItallBB... never a problem.... last week my box went out... they sent me a new one and I'm up again.

Thanks for the suggestions.... my wife is chomping at the bit to go back. Her son doesn't have a valid passport and he will be in school, so he will be here.

This is not good at all. Tony T, I hope you can get a reasonable flight to visit your better half soon. I can remember the days of paying $700 RT and the most I ever paid I think was $1200 RT. My wife is looking to visit next year, I hope things are better then, and hopefully sooner for those of you wanting to go now.... it is indeed an arm and a leg to fly cramped for almost a day.
