  1. Yep - if they can get every internet connection worldwide to do that, then the packets would be traceable. While you're at it, you can agree to put a tracking device in your Honda, so the police will always know where you are and how fast you are going.
  2. Domicile is rarely an issue for K-1's. P-4 is issued by the consulate, not the USCIS A domicile is your residence. Where do you receive mail in the US? Where.do you show as your address on your income tax returns? What evidence do you have? What do you HAVE - not what do you NOT have?
  3. http://i28.tinypic.com/2mruqv6.jpg Congratulations !! http://i1.tinypic.com/3ygwmdz.gif
  4. I would think it was also stated very clearly on your blue slip It seems like these things were made very clear to you before the interview
  5. I don't think we've discussed China's procedures with regards to lost passports, but we have discussed them with regards to new-borns.
  6. The old pasport would contain the old entry stamp, which a new-born would not have. I believe the exit visa is necessary for a new-born, since there would be no record of their entry.
  7. Thr INA 221(g) "game" is the one that works. It WILL be sent back to the states with a recommendation for revocation that the USCIS may or may not act on. In the meantime, your case is in 'lockdown' Watch your mailbox for any communication from the USCIS. It MUST be acted upon. Good luck
  8. Um - wouldn't the exit visa come from China, and not the consulate?
  9. A big part of it, though, is sink-or-swim. He may have to repeat some classes if his understanding is not good enough. It's a good way to learn English, but maybe not so good for his other classes. If he takes a class or two that he already has an understanding of, that may help the situation
  10. Yes - anything for the interview needs to be hardcopy - no other media will be accepted Thanks for the pics - enjoyed looking!
  11. A social security number should be enough, but even that shouldn't be necessary. What kind of account are you trying to set up? What are they telling you? What form is it? It's pretty rare that a bank would turn away legitimate money.
  12. Go for it - we'll be watching for the good news
  13. There is no reason to give them anything you might want them to ignore.
  14. Looks like they need some heavy duty proof there, for both of you. Good luck to her! Have a Happy Citizenship Week
  15. In this case NO EAD needed, GREEN-CARD IS work authorization. I highly recommend taking the green-card and SSN card to SSA and get the "With DHS auth" notation removed from the SSN card. Well, uh . . . yes! It's free for you guys. Not correct, I-765 renewal isn NOT free for the OP, they filed AOS/EAD/AP BEFORE July 30 2007 BEFORE USCIS increased the rate for AOS to include EAD and AP. In their case they will need to pay the fee to renew. $340 http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...00045f3d6a1RCRD re-read please
  16. Dale is right - you don't need an I-130 for a K-1. For K-3, you would need an approved I-130, which would have been submitted before the I-129F for K-3
  17. No problem! I thought you already answered that! No you don't. The green card has it covered Come back and see us more often!
  18. Well, then, you could save yourself $340 by updating your timeline! Why did you ask??
  19. Oops - sorry. The fee is $340. If you had applied for AOS AFTER July 30, 2007, there would be no fee.
  20. Sounds like another CFL impromptu gathering being planned. Hey, anyone who's there when it happens is welcome to come !!
  21. Well, uh . . . yes! It's free for you guys.
  22. The time to have done that (interview or no) would have been when you filled out the I-485. Take her SS card and the marriage license to the SS office, and see if you can't get it changed on the card. Also her driver's license. Someone else may have Florida specific advice.
  23. but I think he wants it to SHOW as pinyin, and not be converted to Chinese characters.
