  1. Hi Clev, Sorry about the Blue, but at least it's not White. now all of us folks on CFL would like you to fill out a time line. The time line is so the folks can keep track of Visa processing. It is usually done in your signature file, and look at mine for an example or any of the other members. Tom and Ling

  3. Hi lili4680, I don't know why you are thinking of failure for the I-129F, but if you want to think about it....than If the I-129f failed...hope not... You can go with a CR-1, however, I would keep all your options on the table...So like you said marry your so, but I would file an I-130 and than after approval file an I-129F for K3. This way you have two different petitions going through the system. And for Ling and I both petitions were approved at the same time and sent to NVC. The I-129F was only at the NVC for 5 days and the I-130 was halt at the NVC. The I-129F was very short to Guangzhou, but if I had been rejected for the K3 in Guangzhou, I would still have had the I-130 to pursue....so leave all your options open.... \ Also all of us folks on CFL would like you to fill out a time line. 6. Hi Darnell, I would assume that you are talking about sending an I-129F for the second I-130 they sent in??? This might be able to be done, but they also need to address the denial of the first I-130. Also Michelle needs to put a time line in so others can see where they stand....submitting another I-130 right after the first I-130...in my opinion...wasn't a good thing to do, but this is only my opinion. Also Michelle,,you need to let us know what was on the first denial sheet and a time line....(see my time line for reference) Tom and Ling
  7. Hi Mikepellicore, I don't understand your timeline...... interview - 8/8/07 "PINK" entered U.S. 8/27/07 K-3 If your wife entered the US on a K3, than all you should have done is file an adjustment of Status.....Why the I-130 to Guangzhou??? Tom and Ling
  8. Hi Jin, You put it so well............. Tom and Ling
  9. Hi michelle94112, It would be nice to give more details about your situation and what your first petition was for?? I would assume that you filed an I-129F and than after you were denied you married ..Is this correct?? Tom and Ling
  10. Hi JST, Most of us have gone on sites that are for marriage. Chinese women are different..For most Chinese women they are family oriented and most are looking for a better life in the US. There are still scammers in China...so like I said "don't rush in to anything...give it atleast 6 months. If you get engaged or married, get plenty of pictures. If you get married have atleast a wedding dinner with lots of pictures. How is your Chinese and how is her English??? If her English is not so good, I suggest that you buy an Electronic translator when you are over there and when you file for whatever petition you will apply for write a "letter of evolution of relationship" where you say that you partly communicate with an electronic translator, if her english is not so good. There is plenty of advice people can give you here...so just ask.. Tom and Ling
  11. Hi Dylan, For the 2007 transcripts ...I was not able to get these until August. So I got the transcribe before Ling's interview,,but I was told that the current year transcript would not be available until August. So, I would give the 2008 tax year as W2 and the 1040 if your interview is going to be before June 2009. Tom and Ling
  12. Hi Jst, I agree with what DavidZixuan says........... But Ling and I met on the internet in August of 2007 and we married in March of 2008. I don't think you can know someone in less than 6 months. So if you and your gal plan to get married....give it at lest 8 months. Too often people have gotten married in such a short time that the VO's have questioned the marriage. So don't jump into a marriage too fast. Go visit but don't marry unless it has been at least 8 months. Do you want to apply for a fiance visa or do you want to marry??? And how long does each visa take...depends on which Service Center processes your petition. Cal. Service Center is probably twice as fast as the Vermont Service Center. Vermont is quite slow. 13. Hi Rick, Your friend needs to do allot of things after he has married his SO ChunMei, and he should not try and move the I-130 and/or I-129F too fast through the system. He should move through the system with care and caution. Do allot of "loading up front" to the I-130. Take lots of pictures of both him and wife and also of family and him. Also when he gets married he should have a wedding dinner as well. How is he on communication between him and his SO. also tell him to try and figure out what may have given the "not bonafide relationship"?? If he wants to post his time line and all the available information here on CFL...I am sure others here can give him advice. Tom and Ling
  14. Hi HelloWorld08, Try this site: http://guangzhou.usembassy-china.org.cn/fo...and_packets.htm Guangzhou Consulate site...gives both Chinese and English versions. Tom and Ling
  15. Randy, I hope that I am not running into dead ends either, but I will pursue things until I am certain that I have reached that point. I appreciate your support, and help with comments and research. Hi Stevebrow, What were the two red flags that the consulate officer mentioned??? Not only am I curious but I would like to know..since they may have passed me on one of these. Tom and Ling
  16. Thanks! I am flying to China tomorrow from Ohio and her interview is Thursday. I plan to go to the citizen meeting on Monday. Can you tell me any tips or whatever when I go. I would appreciate it. I can read this site via e-mail with my laptop when I travel. Hi Chazzy1098, If you can read this, read Ling's interview since her's was on a Thursday to. http://candleforlove.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=34438 Good luck with your gal's interview,,and write an updated "Evolution of Relationship letter" since you are taking your laptop. Tom and Ling
  17. Maybe. From what I know, and that ain't much, I'd say it depends on if your interview date is at the end of the week and you want to hit ACH on Monday. We are Thursday and if approved we have heard since the weekend is coming, the visa can't be picked up until Monday or Tuesday. Not so.... Ling's interview was on a thursday and we picked up her Visa on Saturday in the morning. I also arrived in Guangzhou on Sunday before her interview on Thursaday ,so that I could go to ACS and ACH. Tom and Ling
  18. Hi Jin...... Well said and my feelings exactly....If you love her/him whether husband or wife..like Jin says...you will visit as much as you can afford. And this is my opinion..... Tom and Ling PS; I made a point to visit Ling every 4 to 5 months and when she received the P3 when I was there in Sept.....I made sure that I would be there for her interview as well. But I like to visit China..... Tom and Ling
  19. (my opinion only)....I would not start it now...give it 6 months, and during this time...Go to Guangzhou in Feb. like you said and go to ACH. Also..if you can start sending your wife money on a regular basis..maybe $200.00 per month if you can afford it. I would also suggest that you and your wife invest in an electronic translator that you will be able to say that you and your wife communicate with fair english and have an electronic translator..it cost me about $250.00 USD but was well worth it. And when you submit your documents to NVC to go forward with the I-130,,send in and updated "Letter of Marital Relationship"m saying that you have an electronic translator..this will eliminate the no common communication I would also make sure (just my opinion)..be there for her interview. Tom and Ling
  20. Hi Joe, For the I-130,,I sent in 5 affidavits from people at work who had knowledge of Ling and my relationship and knew of our marriage but didn't attend. Affidavits sworn to or affirmed by third parties having personal knowledge of the bona fides of the marital relationship. (Each affidavit must contain the full name and address, date and place of birth of the person making the affidavit, his or her relationship to the petitioner of beneficiary, if any, and complete information and details explaining how the person acquired his or her knowledge of your marriage); The other documents I could not produce. The 5 affidavits were from friends that had personal knowledge of our marriage. Did it help....I think so. Tom and Ling
  21. "My de English, no good! Putonghua, please!" should work just fine. Hi Yan and Tom, Randy is right..."My de English, no good! Putonghua, please!" should work just fine." I was there for my wife's interview and specifically asked for my wife's interview to be in Chinese...I said it at ACS and ACH and when my wife said she wanted her interview in Chinese..the VO said "I know, I know"..... Even thought you can not be there...your fiance has the right to have the interview in Chinese. Tom and Ling
  22. Hi wolvie, You might want to take extra copies (to be notarized) and see if you can have those papers notarized at ACS...the reason...I saw some people that did not have an appointment use ACS..they just took a number and waited. I don't think they just service "appointments only". So have the papers notarized in the US but take an extra copy with you ...so that if possible you could have it done there. Why???...I had the I-134 notarized there and a few other things and they didn't even ask for the I-134 at Ling's interview. as far as the evolution of relationship letter...Both..but not to "Mushy" my update letter was read by some at my work and all he said is "that it was "touching". Also I put the "evolution of relationship letter" (folded Long wise) in my passport and gave it to Ling to hand to the VO. This way she did not have to ask the VO to read it...It was there in my passport and I guess curiosity got the better of the VO.. Printing photos...Yes but I don't know where. Tom and Ling
  23. HI Stepbrow, So sorry to hear the news.,but keep going as you and Laopo and daughter are a family....and a family can over come anything... How did you get the Consulate to set a meeting and review?? Usually, they just ignore everything...You must at sometime lets us all know how you got them to review your case,,this maybe OK..hoping for the best for you and your family.... Tom and Ling
