Pass Interview/interview questions

My Wife passed her interview yesterday dec 3.

This was a K3/4 visa. took 1 year 3 days since I-130 sent out by mail..

VO asked almost all questions in chinese

K/4 stepson was asked some questions too..

 

Yi is my wife

Yuan --stepson

VN is Visa Officer he was american from Viet Nam and spoke chinese slowely.

 

 

 

I am very lcuk to meet that View Nam man at interview.He have very warm the smile almost all time talk with me.I got know we will have luck thing pass our interview when I fisrt saw him.

 

This is from his questions:

VN Man:How about your English?

Yi I could speak some English.But I read and writing English is better than listen and speak English.

VN Man: ( He speak Chinese)Who got apply you go to America?

Yi: My husband.

VN Man: Did you has already married with him?

Yi: Yes.We got married in China.

VN Man: When time married?

Yi: Last Year Oct and we had a honeymoon trip in JuZaigou.

VN Man:How many times did he came to China?

Yi: Two times and other one in June and we were been beach trip.

VN Man: Where met your husband.

Yi: Internet.

VN Man:Do you have some pictures with your husband together.

Yi: I showed thsoe pictures we together two times in China.

VN Man:Oh,Nice! Very beautiful.

Yi: I told him about my parent and those calligraphy and picture from my Papa and brother.As I told him part pictures taken at my apartment.

VN Man:That's very nice the thing.

Yi: Thank you!

VN Man:Do you have about you husband the finances papers?

Yi: Yes.I showed for him.

VN Man: He look for a little long time.Then said OK. What's your plan go to there?

Yi: I plan go to learn 3 hours in a English school everyday. As I would find a job.

VN Man:Ask Yuan.How old years?

Yuan: 18 years old.

VN Man: Oh,He look for the paper while.

Yi: He just 18 years old in 1th Dec.

VN Man: What are you plan to there?

Yuan: I'll go to study and doing some part time.

VN Man: You has already got pass about your apply.Please pick up you Visa next Monday.

Yi,Yuan: Thank you,Thank you very much!

 

Her actual interview was at 10:45. she saw two sad faces with blue slips before that...

Congratulations, It's sounds like he knew you were already approved.

 

I just finished reading Alex's post I'm kind of curious what's going on behind the scenes.

 

The clear differences I see is that you are K3/K2 and he is K1/K2. Your wife brought her son, Alex's fiancee ?? I heard about K2, but not that the unmarried child under 21 was present. Your wife interviewed with a male officer, Alex's was female. Why would they hold his fiancee accountable for her ex-husband's presence in China... Hmmm?

 

Don't mean to take away from your celebration, just a little curious. Thanks for sharing your wife's experiance at the interview.
