Is it the norm? My NVC out date was 1/25/2008 The CR-1's have a different overall timeline/track than the K-1's and K-3's, as they complete the P-3 process at the NVC. For the K-series visas, a [general] rule of thumb, for the past several months, has been 180 days (six months) NOA-2 to interview. And now appears to be approx. 11 to 11.5 months, NOA-1 to interview. +/- one to two weeks, on average; however, there are always exceptions, in both directions. My case is forwarded from NVC to Guangzhou on Nov 15 2007, so far Guangzhou still have not receive the hard copy...SIGH.... What is taking so long? Well lets see ..... "Chinese customs"..... the ever present "backlog"....."special processing" the nice specialist at Dos told me today I should expect mine to opened May or June, she said GUZ is taking 5-6 months now.....believe what you like But seriously it should be any day. I was murdered by GUZ b/c I worried and complained too much, haha. They don't read this, do they? =P First, yes they do read much of this. Next, it took a PM and two posts to you, however, I am happy to see you finally found this thread, on your own, 12 hours later !! Also, finally got through to DOS a few minutes ago and no change in status for my petition. As a K-3 filer, I think mine will follow your timeline more close than the K-1's ??
