Any one called DOS today? I did, but no good news for us. Last Name Z, First Name Y, Interviewed Date:8/27, still pending

I called DOS during my CNN interview - to show how backlogged they are with phone calls...on que - I couldnt get through

I tried calling today, in the morning around 11. Took a long time to get through, probably 20-30 minutes on hold. Still pending.

 

Hope others are having more luck.

I called this a.m. and got Greg...he said still pending...he laughed and said that two days ago he got one who interviewed on 11 Aug cleared, the next day he had one who interviewed on 12 Aug clear, so maybe tomorrow we will get good news (interviewed on Aug 13).

I called DOS also yesterday. My interview date 8/5 and still pending. Anyone had the same date interview like mine?? Any good news? I am CR1. I applied in Jan.2001. Have been waiting too long time..( Hope to get some good news next week.

I think the long waiting for the DOS info line (which I dont think really helps)

is I think the Russian group is on another mission.

Call completed...spoke to a very nice lady - "not cleared yet, BUT this does not mean it's not cleared, it's just not in the computer yet". Now THAT'S a different answer! I was pleasantly encouraged by that response, rather than no, it's not cleared.

 

I'm getting more and more bummed by this - can't say anymore now
