In the letter they mentioned Affidavit of Support , medical exam, ect. For the Affidavit of Support , do I need to have it notary public? Any other document to prepare? Thanks! Thanks!

  5. Thanks, Bob! Do you mean that you received the receipt(or notice of action) 6 weeks after you sent the application? Thank you so much! We received the receipt staoled to the appointment letter for EAD appointment 6 weeks after we mailed the application to them. The fingerprint appointment letter arrived the same day Hi Bob, Did you have your EAD interview? We just recieved the appointment at 8:30 am next Tuesday. Do you think we should go there early? Did they allow you to go with your wife in the interview? What question did they ask? Thank you for your information!
  6. Thanks God, we received the EAD and fingerprint appointment!
  7. Good to hear this! I wish our case will go smooth too!

  9. Thanks, Bob! Do you mean that you received the receipt(or notice of action) 6 weeks after you sent the application? Thank you so much!
  10. Thanks Eric! No, I didn't recive anything not even a receipt.
  11. sy, I think Eric is correct. I sent three checks to BCIS, one for I-485, one for I-765 and one for fingerprint, they cashed all my checks. Only problem with me is that I still didn't hear anything from them. Good luck!
  12. Dear all, Please help me with this one! I sent out the AOS package(I-485,I-765) to BCIS Los Angeles Distict on 3/25/2003. However, up until right now, one month laster, I still didn't hear anything from BCIS yet. It really doesn't seem working smooth for us. I wonder if anyone here can tell me who/where should I contact to find out our case. Only thing I know is that they did cash my check to them. Thank you very very much!
  13. you mean I-765 right? No, they told me it's I-766. I told the clerk that I have never heard of this form, she told me to find out from INS.
  14. I have the same experience with you! We first went to a ssa on Mar 5, nothing. So I went there again today, they now told us that they were not able to process our SSN until we get them I-688B or I-766 from INS. What I can say?
  15. Any one have any idea about which type of mail should I use to send our i-485 and i-765 application? Thanks!
  16. in the instruction of I-485, it said that medical exam is not neccessary for K-1, if a medical exam within the past year has been taken. Also, it said "You may include vaccination supplement with your AOS application."
  17. I am not sure if it's correct, but someone mentioned in other thread that temporary EAD is free. I didn't know. I might just apply AOS for her asap.
  18. Same here, I went to a SS admin. Officer in Los Angeles, and they took my petition too.
  19. I just can't believe it, we got the EMS!!!!!!!!!!!! I just don't know what to say! I am going back to China tomorrow! Thanks CFL, thanks all of your value CFL group! Just for the information, the Consulate does require police certificate from my fiance. Anyway, we prepared ahead of time, so there should not be a problem. Good luck to all of us!
  20. Thanks, Ana! But one more question, is your husband's police certificate still valid by the time the notice is sent? My fiance's is expired already, and I am not sure wether I should ask her to update a new one. It's very difficult for her to get new one. Thank you!
  21. Congraduation, Ana! Very good news for us! BTW, in the notice your husband received, did he required to bring police certificate for the visa pick up? Thanks!
  22. P.J. I am so shocked with what happened to you! Be strong, actually, you are strong than we can imagine! Remember, we, CFL is always with you! I am shame of those few HUMAN BEING who did terrible thing to nice people.
