I am 100 percent with you! No more ... but action! My fiance even said she would rather die instead of this 'no hope', 'no sensce' wait! What a world it is now? No matter how, I just couldn't understand why they just keep holding our visa! Do they still having heart? Do they still consider us human being? It's twenty first centure and it is happening in the United State of America. We, the citizen of the United State of America is suffering!

Agree! I don't feel like I was treated as a human being! I have sit back and think, do I still want to live at this country? Seems like no one care about this more than 10000 cases here. lack of public attention too. I wonder, in here a lost dog will get half and hour TV live report and a whole team of police officer helping it out. However, how much attention and help we got for our hardship living and waiting????????? What a world?????? Maybe I should just pack myself and go away!

Owen, The old name check submittal before Nov 1 is what I think after 90 days will just sit there collecting eletronic dust. They do, buy law after the aloted time (30 days now) and no respomce from DOS, must determine weather to issue a visa or send it back for resubmittal. If you are talking to GZ, they will tell you what they want you to hear. If you ask GZ to resubmitt, of course they will tell you it doesnt have to be, more work for them. If It doesnt need to be resubmitted, then it should have been finished my now. It does not take over 6 months for this process. The reason for resubmittal is a computer format entry change. It is in the GAO report. A copy of the GAO report is on visadelays.com, good reading. Untill the resubmittal is done under the new computer entry format, they will just sit there. they just won't resubmit for me. I called GZ as well as Email requesting them to resubmit for me. By calling, they told me that they could not resubmit it for me just because I requested. They were not going to do whatever I told them, they had their own procedure and no need direction from me, according to them. By email, I never receive a respone for more than two weeks already.

Any one was able to call DOS information line at 2026631225 this morning? I called this morning for about 1 hours and got cut off about 20 times, never reach a human being!

I never got clear, since different people telling different information from diffenert department. I just wish good thing will happen soon! Good luck for all of us!

you are right. But I didn't know how to filter and evaluate the information we got from DOS, CA, GUZ.

What can I do? I found out from Greg this morning that Guang-zhou didn't resubmit my fiance's name for clearance! And Guang-zhou sdidn't want to resubmit for me when I called last night to them. Terrible mass up. Is there any other people having simliar problem with us? We are August group. Thx!

You either have to formally request resubmission by e-mail or FAZ. They will not do so by phone. I asked them whether I can request for resubmission, the guy in Guang-zhou answered me NO. I have no idea now.

I talked to Guang-zhou last night and requested them to resubmit my fiance's name for clearance. But, they said they could NOT. Also, I email them to do this for me also, no response from them yet. I talked with Greg in DOS this mornig also, he said my case didn't have resubmition. I have no idea what action I need to take now! Any body have suggestion?????????? I just got off the phone with Guang-zhou officer. They don't even want to tell me when my fiance's name was submit or re-submit for clearance. They told me that they are waiting the response from DOS for my fiance. Also, I asked whether I can request Guang-zhou to resubmit my fiance's name for checking, the answer was no. What can I do???

I called DOS and speak to a lady. She was rule but checked the case for me anyway. I asked for the date my fiance's name was submit for security check. She would tell me. I said I need that information to whether or not to request Guang-zhou consulate to resubmit. She said you can do that. She didn't care. To her, it's our business whether or not to resubmit. I don't know if the resubmit will cause more delay or not, any one can answer?

But, it doesn't mention anything for the Mistaken Aug/Sep bunch! Any special action has been taken toward our Aug/Sep group? I am still afraid! Any way, thank you so much for your hard work!
