CA get together

The California contingent of CFL has planned a get-together in late August, here are the details:

 

August 27th/28th in San Luis Obispo, CA.

Don we are only trying to keep the Californians contained to LL and Contact List by directing our brothers and sisters south. Wouldn't want to be wandering where we aren't wanted. On the other hand that might limit our wandering area and you know how we stray here

Wow! To see this here in this forum.

I hope everyone here in CA can attend, and I hope we can attract anyone interested from anywhere else. San Luis Obispo, if not familiar, is on the central coast and should be quite nice there that time of year. It's also not far from the regional wine country, and has wines that rival Napa. Come one, comme all! Help us make sunny CA's first get together grand.

Yes you may be able to sit on the beach but don't go near the water because it's too cold...I was fortunate enough to escape the Golden state in 1972 when it had half the population it has now. Having just sampled your CA life again let me just say that everything on the left coast is just too durned FAST. Give me the midwest for a calm, friendly, laid back place where you can actually afford a decent home...
