I've no clue, really - but here are some thoughts - 1. a piece of that was the medical paperwork. Get a medical exam done in the USA from a US Civil Surgeon - make it 'complete exam'. 2. the rest of the packet should have stuff in it (maybe not?) from GUZ IV unit - and 'that stuff' was already scanned into the big computer - so copies are available for the USCIS to retrieve. 3. make an infopass appointment, and soon.

I'm lazy - I don't like big messes - and dumpling skin used to be a mess for me. So here's what I do now - ... Roll it out - then put a 'sheet' of dough on a piece of wax paper - then make about 6 stacks of this - and THEN put it all into the freezer for about 45 minutes.. The dough is then cold enough for quick cutting - I use a glass. Since the dough is coldish, makes it easier to 'stack' the dumpling skins.

oh did you have to ask? I just got home today,i don't know if i should go to bed,stay up ,it has been a long flight.I telephoned the wife,she was suppose to recieve her visa/passport today.........well you know the rest of the story.......yeah,she did not recieve it today,so she is still in Guz,should get it tuesday.....so shes been told...we'll see.She has a friend who waited 2 weeks for hers. I suggest you rip out , quickly, a hand -written Income and Asset Statement - and then see if it all makes sense to you. If it does, then formalize it, have an accountant prepare it. The I-864 does ask for tax forms info, but since yer an anomoly, you're gonna have to do something else. An 'Income and Asset Statement' is the 'something else. Good Luck !

I would try to focus the planning on whether or not YOU want to attend ACH/ACS. ACH is on a monday, I think? I also think you need appointment (via their website booking engine thingie). I've no further comments.

I would not ask a member of the IV unit anything about that, but that's just how I roll. But think about it, yes? Why to ask HERE, on CFL, about this abysmal situation? Actually - IIRC, this has already been addressed by the USCONGUZ account, about 2 years ago - whilst it was an interesting 'answer' - it did nothing to stop this process of sending out a piece of mail instead of a visa. You must understand, yes? That the goal is to get the Visa in the Mail. The beneficiary (yer lass) has ONE opportunity to handle these questions to the VO, and that's AT THE INTERVIEW. Also, since this can become CASE SPECIFIC (and is, during the interview), the ConOff monitoring the USCONGUZ account will NOT answer - citing 'we don't answer case-specific info on CFL'.

Sometimes, the visa processing isn't finished or can get fouled up, AFTER the interview. The VO won't tell her, but the VO knows all about it, already, on the day of the interview - it's all there for him/her to see in the casefile. Here's a few things for HER to ask when the interview has 'completed'.. 1. Has the namecheck finished? 2. Please check my fingerprints - did you get a good set? 3. Is there any indication that I will have additional processing? 4. Is my case complete? If no, please tell me exactly what you need, I have it here in my filecase. 5. Give a card with the cell number and say - 'If you have any issues or problems that I can solve by returning to see you, please call my cell phone'. It sucks when she shows up at the post office , expecting a visa, only to pick up a letter that delays the visa issuance with some bullcrap (see the above list for the bullcrap). and to all - GOOD LUCK with your Interviews !! Have a look over at http://english.ctrip.com - you'll get an idea of routings and prices .. What city is she in? Usually, get better deal when have 3 to 5 local travel agents 'compete' for her business. (No WebSite) If you want to go 'straight to Seattle' - Hainan Air has a flight from BeiJing to Seattle - so - can you trip up from Guangzhou to BeiJing? I have no clue as to what other airline goes straight. CZ (China Southern) will get you from CAN to LAX, several times a week. You won't get a good deal at orbitz, but at least have a look for the available routings - see http://www.orbitz.com HTH !

tell your husband it is EASY to add you to the deed of the house. Also tell him to go to the county courthouse and talk to the records clerk about 'how to do' - the process varies greatly. Be prepared to spend 110 or less.

I had looked at this last year, thought to get two (one for me, one for her) - but - at the time, there were no call detail records (which I think is important for providing relationship evidence) so I didn't get them. Things might have changed - perhaps they are supplying call detail records on their online web portal. In Houston - is currently being sold at the Radio Shack and Walgreens - but the return policies (regardless of where you purchase) are very liberal - if you don't like it, you can return it. Somehow, my regular VOIP service gives me free international calls - so I get the call detail records... I do remember reading some technical bits about it, in several reviews, but the thing that stuck out, at least to me - if you buy two, one for USA, one for China - do NOT plug in the one you want to give her for China Usage, in the USA - the activation stuff 'pegs' it to 'that' computer and it's a nightmare to 'rehome it' to another computer.
