Once you have the AOS interview she will recieve the green card and will not need EAD (I-765). Sooooo, if she isn't going to work before AOS---no need to spent the 175$ for EAD!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, 'not authorized for work" I ahbvent had my wifes changed but it doens't matter as the green card authorizes work.

I was 167 days getting the NOA2. They have sped up considerably since then--bad news is GZ has slowed!

You didn't read the fine print about their 30 day processing window. Once they are 30 days late you may then go to their 30 day processing window that states they are 30 days late. At said window you will be told that they are 30 days late and that you should wait 30 more days, then reprot to their 60 day processing window so that they can inform you that they are now 60 days late and that in 30 days you should report to their 90 day processing window so they can tell you.............you get the idea!

EAD allows your wife to work while she is waiting for the green card. once you get the temp green card you will no longer need an EAD. Your friends lawyer is WRONG--once she gets the green card there is no temp EAD-IT IS NOT NEEDED!!!! The green card allows her to work etc......

Other than the water splashed around on the tile floor--I see no merrit in the water thing-especcaily a water "cooler". Cold water is a foreign concept. My wife puts milk and orange juice in the microwave. Cold water is out of the question!!!!!!!

A long time ago in a far off pace I developed and headed up a crisis response team. That along with my training in grief counseling pushed me into believing I should volunteer to help the Katrina victims. So far I have contacted FEMA and the Red Cross. Much to my dismay i have found that volunteering is much like the UCIS process. By the time they figure out how and process applications it will be too late for any proactive help. Anyone have any ideas as to how and where those of us with ample time and perhaps valuable expertise can be of help without 3 months of processing delay??

I emaild sam earlier and much to my suprise he got back with me. He said everyone is ok. His buisiness is messed up but everything else is ok.

She's a black lady VO at GUZ. she has the peruataion of neing one of their 'hitmen' in that she seems to be oft times rude and over eager to deny a first time visa. there are others who have had no problem with her.

Welcome dogderf dude. well you have already been advised from the best so not much i can add. When we went to the interview we had aound 8 notorial certs. when you get the P3 from GUZ there will be a list of things you will need for the next step-until then relax and enjoy the ride. you fiancee, much like many of ours, will continue to know more than you and will continue to keep you on your toes--even if not all of what she knows about the process is 100% correct--WARNING!! WARNING--don't tell her she may not be correct!
