  1. 2 months??? Problems?? Nah--I sent mine to TX in April of 2007-they sent it to Vermont in December of 2007-I called yesterday and Vermont sent it to CA. I'm guessin' CA will send it to Nebraska and they will send it to ???????? It has now been a total of 16 months--did I mention that biometrics expire after 15 months??? Damn I love the USCIS!!!! They sent it to me last week, and I forwarded it to Guam for you. Seriously though, have you spoken to someone about the biometrics expiration issue? Yuppers I did. After a zillion calls I finaly got past the low level phone ding dongs at USCIS and talked to a very knowledgable IO. He said that bio's expire in 15 months. He also said he is going to investigate our case and try to get the re-re-re-re bio stuff waived.

  3. RT tickets are easy to change in China-usually costs around $100.00 or less.
  4. PP is no longer working out of GZ China. He is now in Seattle.
  5. Do you mean Cable TV or get A cable and run it from my computer to the TV? I had Comcast cable before and it was bad! The truth is I would never go back to Cable tv. I do love my Directv. It comes through your computer-you can either have a cable from your computer or use a wireless router and the signal goes to a box on the TV. Here is the link. http://www.kylintv.com/index.asp We have it and it works fine.
  6. Which would you suppose is the equivalent to Vice Battalion Commander? Battalion commander is/was usually full bird or Lt. Colonel-sometimes even a major. So, a 'vice commander/deputy commander would usually be either a Lt. colonel or a major. I doubt anything lower than major would be a deputy battalion co as battalions have around 5 companies in them and Captains are usually the company co¡¯s and captain is the next lower than major. Looks like their LT Colonel would be battalion honcho and major would be his deputy! would be his deputy
  7. I hope it gets better once it gets installed. Maybe I will have a different number to call for customer service once its installed and it doesn't go international. From what everyone on Candle says they are normal but I've hard the worst problems across the board with them! If it wasn't for my wife's grandparents I would cancel the mess all together but it will make them happy and I want to get it for them. I wouldn't put up with this for me. They told me that its VERY rare equipment for the great wall package and that's why they keep cancelling HAHA What in the world. A year or so ago I bought wifey a new HD monster size TV. I already had Dish network so I called them to upgrade my package and bring me an HD receiver. They made an appointment kinda-between 12:00 and 5:00.-No show? I called and bitched and bitched and bitched and finally talked to a supervisor who said they would be at my home first thing in the AM. He tried to tell me that they had no way to call me?? BULLSHIT--they are a communications company-they all have company cell phones and are in contact with their office etc...Once again no show and me with a year left on my original contract-Soo half day on the phone and finally I talked to someone who gave a rat's ass. I cancelled my contract with NO PENALTY and did not have to pay my final months bill- Should I decide to ever go back to them I will receive one years service for free and something else that I forgot-to compensate me for taking time off work for a no-show(ok, Lied to them about missing work so what).. I called Comcast that afternoon and had their service the next morning with NO CONTRACT!!! Making an appointment with a five hour window is bad enough but making one and not showing, with no call or anything, is unforgiveable! As for the great wall package--I got the Kylink thingy that Dan talked bout last year. A zillion Chinese channels and cheaper that the great wall!!
  8. She would need a visa to re-enter the US! BUT-if she flew to Hong Kong and then entered the mainland on her Chinese passport and then back to HK and then flew back home from HK using her US passport--wa La-no visa needed -No stems no seeds that you don't need--hong kong gold is badass flyin'!
  9. This has happened a zillion times. The simplest cure is to go to a different SSA office. Several have done it and got the SSN!
  10. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! 16 months and counting. I called USCIS 6 weeks ago and thay wrote an inquiery. I called yeasterday and they said I can't call them for two more weeks-then they can write another inquiery and in 60 more days I can call them again and do another another another. Next week i have an infopass at my local (500 mile roundtrip) USCIS office. They will no doubt tell me how sorry they are for being so stupid and ask me for more money cuzz everthing is expired.
  11. Roggie, always remember that the small end is for aiming with. Put your eye up to the tiny hole, if all you can see is a shiney tunnel with circular grooves cut in it, you are aimed correctly. Without taking your eye off the target, reach for the the trigger with your free hand, (not the one you are 'shaking it' with'). RAPIDLY PULL SAID TRIGGER--BE SURE NOT TO LET IT GO!! If you follow these simple steps correctly I'll betcha a shiney new penny that your popularity on CFL (yea right)will rise rapidly.
  12. 53 of the 60 guests are BOTS! As for good ole boys posting instead of you, If you are just coming here to cause trouble we would all appreciate you NOT posting--good ole boys, guests and anonymous members as well. I get it--do you!!!
  13. Correctomondo--except that even if you file before oct 1 08 and want to take the old test you can only do so prior to oct 1 09--ya never know, USCIS can be slowwwwwwwwwww
  14. wow! so 3 years after she gets her 10 year minus 90 days she can apply for citizenship? It use to be 5 years! It is still 5 years for a non-spouse.
  15. i want to thank you guy's very much for putting my mind at ease For the past few years nearly all AOS cases transferred to CA ended up getting their green card WITHOUT an interview!
  16. I'm not smart enough to understand you?? May I please see your PhD? Hi, you cant beat me there. I have one PhD in Education, one master degree in Curriculum, one bachelor's degree in language and one in Chinese. Then you will understand that I am smart enough to understand you as I have a multi major bachelors in psych/soc/bio/crim-Masters in School Psych and a PhD in Clinical.
  17. Damned if I know the legalities but a) 3 months is not long for a Chinese woman-they have to get their $$ worth. My wife has gone twice for three months and came back. Most Chinese women would never be foolish enough to run out on child support. She knows she could get big bucks 'if' and still go to China with your son if she wanted to c) having a son in China would take her out of the dating/marriage market--so why would she go? D) most Chinese women would die to have their son grow up and be educated in a US school!!! E) The American gov and China do not recognize dual citizenship so in the USA's eyes he would be an American--I'm guessing they would do whatever is possible to help you????????
  18. I'm not smart enough to understand you?? May I please see your PhD?
  19. Hmmmmmmmm, my wife only eats Chinese food-I like American. I watch sports-she doesn't like them so she watches soaps. I enjoy fishing-she does not. I'd rather pee standing up--she wouldn't and on and on. D'ya think she hates me??????????????? I think not!!!!
  20. Randy, I guess I am trying to find out if I can claim my stepchild for the qualifying child credit. He meets all the conditions. I am just not clear about the resident alien condition for his first year of living in this country. If he lives here for more than half a year, is he a resident alien or dual status? Thanks. If the child has been in the US for 183 days or more you can claim him/her as a dependent and for the child tax credit and earned income or any other tax matter you woulkd claim a natural child born in the usa. Been there done that!
  21. For phone we use Italbb. It is 24.95 per month NO TAXES ECT.. It is a VOIP that you can cal anywhere in the USA and Canada and 20 other countries for free. This icludes 100% free calls to china and China can call you for the cost of a local call. If your interested pm me and I'll give you the details. also, I get a few pennies if you say I sent you--Wifey makes me say that cuzz a few pennies is big bucks to her!
  22. Since the American business man is of high moral fiber and adheres to a strong and fair ethical code, I¡¯m sure that my 95 pound wife will get to fly for almost nothing-thus making up for my overindulging self having to pay more.
  23. Ya, those damned liberal greenies--It ain't american to be against ruining stuff even if that stuff is our very own world!! I hate it when they try to make big buisiness and gov be responsible. Everyone knows that profit comes way before the people and that our right to consume is much more important than conserving anything for those who may follow us. Damned environmental buffoons!!!
