Korean ginseng is totally different from American ginseng. Korean genseng is somewhat like Chinese ginseng, it helps to strengthen the internal heat of body, however, American ginseng helps to weaken the internal heat. Korean ginseng is very very very strong, if taken too much, it could cause the bleeding in the nose, casue too much heat in the body. Not everybody can take that. I think it also called 'red ginseng'. I wont recommend that for young people, same as Chinese ginseng, they are good for sick people and aged people. As for American ginseng, it is much more mild and not that strong so thats why preferred by normal people, just for the purpose of strengthen the body system. Remember, when you are sick, you can never take Korean or Chinese ginseng, they have a function that will strengthen your body when you are healthy, but will worsen it when you are sick. As far as I know, American ginseng dont have that nature. Even though American ginseng is not popular in the States, but it is indeed a very good gift for a Chinese family, esp. for the older generation. The Hsuginseng is expensive, but their ginseng is very good quality(according to my daddy), you can buy their ginseng from the websit.

Tian You are under the name checking process now, it takes 10days to 3 months roughly speaking. Could be longer.

Chinese women usually keep the maiden name after marriage. But some people will change their given names before turning 18(for whatever reason), in such cases, it will make the name checking process longer.

Has other names will prolong the name checking process.

Prior to the interview, while present the application, it is rommended to present pictures of the two(with family member), telephone bills, emails, evidence how many times the two visit....almost same requirements as the interview.

I think the VO can judge the beneficary's English skill during the interview, they put the emphasis on oral communication. Pictures of both together and with family when visiting are more important. As well as how many times the petioner spent with SO. Also the telephone bills showing how much time they spent on talking(or messenger etc) All in all, communication, communication, and communication

just read a post on 001, a girl passed her interview and got the visa, but she was robbed near the station, lost her visa parcel, and not a clue if it is possible to get the visa parcel again from GZ consular. BE EXTREMEMLY CAREFUL IN GZ ESP. AFTER PASSING THE INTERVIEW, AND IT WOULD BE RECOMMENDED TO MAKE A COPY OF ALL IMPORTANT STUFFS. It happened a couple times already,several months ago, a girl was stolen before the interview, all her evidence of relationship was lost, however, she was able to recover the loss by paying the thief a lot of money.(they knew it is important!!) Just be careful!!!!

Mengxin, ask you SO call DHL: 8008108000 or 020-86669288 to check the tracing no. for the parcels leaving from Portsmouth, NH - USA (DHL code prt ) or Manchester, NH - USA (dhl code mht) on Mar.8th, 2005. DHL will tell your SO all the tracing no. for the parcels leaving from NVC to GZ on that day. Then she can check whether the parcels have been cleared or not. After the clearance, it takes 2-4 weeks for GZ to key the case into computer. (I was told that the parcel leaving on Mar.8th has some problem of clearance, unable to deliver) Hope there should be no problem.

Before talking to me, my LG did not know how to make porper green tea, one time he put too many tea leaves in the cup so the tea was extremely strong, that made him refrain from drinking green tea. I had introduced the Chinese tea culture to him, now he is a green tea avid drinker, the key is dont put too many leaves one time. He drinks less coffee, more green tea, which is very good for his health.

Thanks for your replies. I emailed NVC last week and they replied my within 2 days, telling me my DS-230 has been sent, and one week later, my LG got a snail mail from NVC saying the same thing: my DS-230 has been sent. In both situation they mentioned that pls allow 2-4 weeks for the DS-230 to reach the agent(my LG). Do I have to be patient to wait 2-4 weeks? Cause my LG turned in the IV fee on FEb 18th, now it is end of Feb, still no news. I am a little concerned about when I can get my P3(DS230).

Any suggetions? Do you think I should let my LG call NVC or just wait a couple weeks for P3?

Your CR1(I-130) should be at the NVC by now, did you receive DS-3230 after the approval of I-130? For I-129, dont worry, K3 is processed much slower now, the timeline now for K-3 is Aug of 2004, so I think your I-129 will be approved 1 month later. Other people you think who has much quicker timeline they are applying for K1 maybe.

Last week I sent am email to NVC concerning my CR1 case status, they reply me within 2 days, informing me that my P3 has been sent out, my LG got a letter (3 day mail)addressing to me last night, same info as the email: my P3 has been sent out, I am wondering is it possible the p3 will be reached the agent later than the 3 day mail my LG got? Or does it mean my ps could be lost? kind of worried.
