You know we use to have another guy on this forum, in fact he still comes around sometimes, that use to sound EXACTLY like you almost word for word. He has been in China for something like 6-8 years now and the next time that he post I want to get the two of you together for a little chat. Has anyone on CFL ever had a second child in China with their Chinese spouse? Did they have to pay a fine as if they were both Chinese having a second kid?

Hopefully we can have a child without paying some fine. i would think the child would be Chinese but at some future date could change to American if it wanted.

You have two choices - contact her hukou to find out what their policy is, or to register the child's American citizenship. So, ask someone else? Or register the child as an American? Wouldn't an American child have to pay much more to live in China (we do not have any plan to ever move to the USA)?

"Lust, Caution" is a good movie by Lee Ang but the fact is "comfort women" are prisoners of war... this movie is about something very different. Great yet sad memorial to women who are still to this day being used as war conquests.

Would someone like to share info on how the cost of medical in the USA is soooooo expensive? A low deductible might be because you pay so much for insurance in the first place? No industrialized nation in the world runs a for-profit system like the USA does at such high costs.
