4. Seems to be a 'resentment' circle: What I have heard, Asian woman are resentful toward the men for their attitudes and behavior, so seek foreign men. Chinese men are resentful towards the ever dwindling number of available chinese woman going to foreign men... 148657 Yea, I have heard that more are changing to men..
5. Sounds like they have a good plan to me
6. First of all I assume that you guys are in the VSC area since that is where you filed the 129F. The next step is to try to remember what State or Province you are in: Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virgin Islands, Virginia, West Virginia.... Step 2 find the District Office in your State: Connecticut; Boston District Office, Delaware; Philadelphia District Office, District of Columbia; Washington, DC District Office, Maine;Portland District Office, Maryland;Baltimore District Office, Massachusetts;Boston District Office, New Hampshire;Boston District Office, New Jersey;Newark District Office, New York; Buffalo District Office or New York City District Office, Pennsylvania; Philadelphia District Office, Puerto Rico; San Juan District Office, Rhode Island;Boston District Office, Vermont;Portland District Office, Virgin Islands;San Juan District Office, Virginia;Washington District Office, West Virginia;Philadelphia District Office... Ok after that just go to one of the many Visa sites that have people post their timelines and look up the timelines for the District that you filed in. Good Luck
7. Must be that Windows 98 slowing you down You by any chance sneek over to the wife's laptop did you

9. Sorry guys and gals, I do not think that the doc did anything wrong..
10. A+ on your post, might be one of the best ones of 2005. Michael Perez
11. Hell don't throw it in the trash, get it framed and hang it up in the den like we did..
12. No photos needed until they send you a letter stating that conditions have been removed without a interview and make a infopass appointment to have a new GC issued or take them to the interview with you if you do have one. What Service Center are You using, TSC is smoking right now. My wife and daughters received their's a few months back without a interview and just took a month and a half total from the time the paper work was sent in...

14. If you send in the 129F before you two meet, it will be sent back(RFE) requesting further evidence of having met in person.
15. Nope, the airlines have been known to have their own set of rules about what they feel is required to enter the destination country and if you do not meet the airline rules they will refuse to allow you to board the plane. It's just like traveling to China, they check your entry documents before allowing you to board and have no problem leaving you on the ground if you don't have the proper stuff. 138694 Passport and valid visa was all that was required for me to travel to china, what other travel documents could there be for a USC? 139647 Don't forget the Imodium A-D
16. Tony, lots of good information here... but still could not determine if the Green Card is issued there or not!!! 137376 LPR is synonymous with green card. She will not have a green card prior to entering the US. Chances are she will get an I-551 stamp (temporary evidence of LPR status) in her passport until the green card is actually received. 137600 Frank, how long after she enters the USA.... and is there a reason for this? What if she were to stay in China for a few weeks or a couple of months after the interview? 139155 It takes approximately 30 days to receive green card and SSN after entering the United States.
17. Before 1997, if the original petitioner and the alien married after day 90, the solution was to do an I-130 with an I-485 adjustment. That is no longer possible. The only thing that you two can do is to have her go back and start all over again.
18. Do not forget the Black Hole People, some waited over a year after the interview to receive their Visa's
19. When she gets her SS card it will have on it Valid For Work Only With DHS Authorization, that is when employer will(or should) require the the EAD to be presented to them.
20. I do understand what you are saying in regards with being in the computer, your wifes may have been inputted in the system sooner than that or later than the two weeks, its like a crap shoot.. It still will not hurt to go down and get the ball rolling on it. Good Luck, Michael Perez
21. You do not need a SS# to file your I-485 and if it were me I would go down to the SS office and try to get it now, I have never heard of the 2 week waiting logic? You can not file for a EAD or AP before you send in your I-485, most people apply for these at the same time they send in their I-485.
