I cant believe this! I called at 9:30 am today. The name is cleared and EMS letter sent today. OMG!!!!!!!!!

I called today! Call-in letter dated today from GZ to my fiancée EMS Visa 6 received I asked to check and double check! GZ sent the EMS to my fiancee today!!!!!!! OMG I cant beleive this!!!! Interview date: 8/22/2002 1st name check submitted: 6/22/2002 2nd name check submitted: 12/18/2002 3rd name check submitted: 1/4/2003 Cleared and EMS letter sent: 1/10/2003 EMS pickup letter recieved: 1/14/2003 Visa in hand: 1/16/2003

I checked Wal-mart. If there is a Wal-mart in her city, they might be able to help. There is a Wal-mart in Shenyang, but they didnt have a money recieving department there. Some that have it is Beijing, Shanghai, GZ and a few more. Just check it out, I didnt use it, but I did ask and it is available.

I think that CA, GZ and DOS has a list of the August group. To asure that the whole group gets priority, and in the new and improved stream-lined system, GZ was ordered to re-submit all of them.

I dont know why they would do it 2 times, I dont think CA or DOS knows either.

Congratulations, this is great! Could you post the info on the tracking topic? The rebubmittal date is important if you know that.

In talking with my senator, I was very adimate in letting him know this is no longer a security issue problem, but more a process and management mishap. I explained the system are now in place and they need to work on the backlog instead of just sitting on it. I really beleive that finally, someone got the message to do backlogs and not just work them into the normal everyday activity. I think at this time, if we get no results from the name checks within 2-4 weeks, the congress and senate will be more willing to jump in and help. The old statement of security needed, is no longer a reason not to do a name check.

The 366-1225 number is having troubles today, they are trying to get it fixed. I think if you call the CA office number and ask for the info team, they can transfer you there if your still having trouble on the info number. I spoke with katherine Kabral, very nice lady, My name check was resubmitted 12/18/2002 and resubmitted again 1/4/2003. Of course I aske why. She said that by order from above, to get all name checks in the stream-lined system, all or most of the name checks for the August group were resubmitted 1/4/2003. She also told me that from what she is seeing, it is taking about 2 weeks to be cleared. Please be aware, there is NO GAURANTEE this will be the case, only an observation on her part and not an official statement. I hope this is good news for all the August group.

I make them myself. I go to Google image search and find what I like and then adjust, clip, resize or whatever I need to do. Kansas, the rock group also used this same image on their box set. That is where I reconized the man. He is on a lot of their album covers. Of course, I didn't know his name. Thank you for giving me a bit of trivia. Phil I have met Robbie Steinheart a few times. He was the violinist in the Kansas Band. Its a long story, but he now or was residing in St. Pete FL. Playing in a band called Steinheart Moon at a local bar. No one knows George! This is truely a black hole situation. As for the re-submittal, probly a work load thing. As for the computer down, I cant speculate. Who knows what is going on up there.
