I told LaTisha last week what was going on with the phones. I was told the system there is very old and hard to fix. Could just be an overload problem.

Thanks, I tried, and didnt have any luck. I just got the tracking number and sent it to Kim. I know she will be calling as soon as she wakes. Kim just ckecked the EMS tracking. It didnt go out untill Monday(China time) and should be there tomorrow. A lesson here, if they say it went out, check to see when and then you might get wrong info. What may be happening is, even though they have the EMS tracking number, it probably didnt get picked up at the consulate untill the next working day.

Owen, I know the feeling about the banks and trying to get money. I needed to cash about $1000 wirth of travelers checks in Shenyang before we wnt to GZ for the interview. the small problem was. the recept had 1 check number on it and said 10- $100 dollars in sequencestarting with a certain check number. well it took about 30 minutes to explain the sequence thing, but it all worked out.

If Im not mistaken, the resubmittion was for the lost black hole gang interviewees (August Sept.Oct.) But I cant be sure of that, It id only my understanding.

She will be out of her office untill this Monday I think.

While talking with katherine Kabral yesterday, (we had a great little chat) she did say one thing that should be of interest to all. Durring this whole delay issue, it was us, the black hole gang, that paved the way of new systems and progress for the future and present visa applicants. If it were not for us, as a unit, (Russian applicants included) writing, calling, emailing and faxing with our suggestions and comments, the system that is in place now would not be in place. Each and everyone of us helped transform a much need changed system. The applicants now and in the future, will have less road to travel. As Americans, we do have a say so in what happens. We can make a difference and help make changes. We are Americans, in a great country! God Bless America!

This is almost exactly what she told me yesterday. I do beleive they are doing their best to get the black hole gang in the sun light. She is a very nice lady. After my good news today, I called and asked her to please tell everyone there I thank them and appriciate all their efforts to resolve this situation. YES, even the not nice lady. Katherine said she will tell them thank you , from me.
