  1. The whole point here is that you have options - choose the one that works. Right now, his choice is whether to send in the I-129F or not. He can decide later whether to pursue that option or not. I received my NOA a couple days ago and also am starting my I-129F. I am from FL and my I-130 was sent to the CA office...in the I-129 instructions I am supposed to send my packet to TX. This perplexes me and makes me wonder if the system is intelligent enough to work my case from two different offices. What do ya think AND...you wrote we could decide later which visa to persue...how does that work? Bu ming bi ZZ
  2. I received my NOA1 a couple days ago and also am starting my I-129F. I am from FL and my I-130 was sent to the CA office...in the I-129 instructions I am supposed to send my packet to TX. This perplexes me and makes me wonder if the system is intelligent enough to work my case from two different offices. What do y'all think?
  3. That is great news and a big load off your chests...congratulations!
  4. On the address line question...I made a separate page and titled it "Form I-130 Continuation" then farther down the page I made the question line...number and the question about her address. Below that I wrote it in Pinyin and then cut 'n' pasted her address in Chinese. Then sign and date it at the bottom...this is a must from what I hear. I think this will be important when they mail the interview package to her in China. ZZ
  5. My head is spinning from reading all of this...I received my 1st, I-797C today. It's the receipt notice for the I-130 petition I sent to USCIS in Chicago, 12 days ago. Is the receipt number in the upper left, WAC-09-XXX-XXXXX my wife's alien registration number? In the lower left corner is an address of the USCIS in Laguna Niguel, CA. This is where my petition was sent for processing, TRUE? So now I should send to Laguna Niguel an I-129F and another G-325 along with duplicates of everything I sent with the I-130? All 135 pages and 29 photos? Then I wait for another NOA? With the 2nd NOA I will be given a choice of K-3 or CR-1? I sure am glad there are some very intelligent members here with all of the answers. Xie Xie, ZZ
  6. It hasn't been to long since the last tall man was married and became news worthy...this young fellow is a big boy. He has to have a special bed, tailored clothes and custom kuai xi. ZZ
  7. I've found Snow to be, OK...but I also like some of the others more...
  8. I have used several (wact, travel china guide) and like Ctrip the best...large schedule selection, good prices and I think the last time I paid with PayPal if memory serves me...ZZ
  9. IMO, you need to view the two petitions as seperate. Make copies of your 134 pages from the I-130 packet, and submit it with the I-129. All of It. Get to Kinko's Copy Center, today, and make a copy. If you have photos that you included with the I-130, take the negatives or CD to walgreens and have another complete 'set' made. But hei - forget 'my opinion' for a moment. The fact is - USCIS will review and approve these two petitions seperately. You need to make two complete sets o 'files' for two seperate 'submissions'. You don't have to submit 'original documents' on the initial petition mailings, but be prepared to do so when either 1) you are handling NVC processing for the I-130 or 2) she is at the interview window for the K-3. Good Luck ! Xie Xie Sabastian...this gets more complicated at every turn. ZZ
  10. Today I finished compiling an I-130 to bring my wife to the US. After a review tomorrow I plan on mailing it to Chicago on Monday. Am I correct that when I receive the NOA I am to send in the I-129f. Is it correct that the I-129f will contain the same G-325A and proofs of citizenship, marriage and the airline tickets, telephone records, e-mails, etc? I am wondering about this because I went through a lot of trouble and time completing the 134 pages of my I-130 and don't want to go through it unnecessarily. Thank you, mucho. ZZ
  11. http://www.oasischinavisa.com/ ...I have used Oasis for three visas and am very satisfied with their service. They are outside of WDC in MD and walk the apps through...I receive my passport/visa in 10 to 12 days with the regular service. Send a copy of your Red Book with your app for muti-entrance and 2 year, they may give it to you. http://www.oasischinavisa.com/ ZZ
  12. When my wife and I began our relationship I would send her cards and letters....many would not arrive. After awhile I found out that postal workers in the PRC loved to collect foreign stamps especially the pretty commemoratives I would attach. Since then I would use the USPS sticker from the P.O. and never had another problem with missing mail. ZZ
  13. They have all of us poor bastards intimidated and skeered to not follow their, "suggestions". I'm gonna punch the holes and ACCO them all together... Cheers, Intimidated ZZ
  14. Yup, don't lie to the folks in CAN...you can say to the best of my knowledge I left the CCP on X-date. But the question may never come up. ZZ
  15. IMO, you need to contact the Beijing Consulate and ask them just to be on the safe side. Then, let us know what they say. Good luck to you!! I thought the only consulate that issues visas in the one in CAN. Do the others issue them, PVG and PEK? ZZ
  16. It seems that first and foremost the US gov wants to be assured that the visitor will return and not go underground...they told my g/f that visas for business and students were no problem, but for an honest woman, with a career, a car, property, family in China... forget about it!
  17. In 2007 I tried to get a visitors visa for my g/f (now my lao po)...she went to Guangzhou for her 5 minute interview and was denied. I wrote my Republican US Senator with the whole story and asked him to investigate. He wrote back and assured me of my safety because a 2,000 mile fence is being built on the Mexican border. ZZ
