Of course this is assuming the paperwork gets there. My question is since DOS and INS don't talk to each other, what the heck good does this mean? GUZ is totally on their own with no oversight.

Sad when you just assume the worse, but that is all that has happened so far. Gearing up for Plan B. Back over for a scenic tour of China to get paperwork there and get married. Then back here file for a different visa and wait 2 more flippin years. Think they'll let me slide on the filing fees? Wait, I think I just saw a flying pig!

My congressman's aide called last week and told me that after 6 weeks Lincoln made a decision. He claimed not to know what it was, but that I should get the letter soon. Well, at least airplane ticket prices are going down.

All very good points. My attitude is that there is no way for me to affect a change to the process. I rarely gripe online[ Big Brother]. There seems to be nothing anyone can do since our elected government is afraid to do anything. When they are so scared of losing the next election that they can't or will not decide on anything that might rock the boat... They force us to play a game where only they know the rules[ and they seem to change daily]. Sigh, just keep my head down and plod on.
