  1. sounds to me that al may be coming out of this as a winner,i think the trip will give him a a new outlook on the world, i say let the man go meet jie ,but do give him a lot of positive views and encouragement, seems to me things is in his favor, but this is CFL views are like A------S, everybody have one,
  2. border jumping mexicans get there health care free so i would not sweat this , if she get sick , they have to give her minium care , that is the law,you sign as the one who will pay the bill,. my personal opion is that if tax payers have to take care of wet backs, our legal loved ones should be treated no less,i see mexicans lined up at our health department, more than whites and blacks,if we did not have insurance, and my wife was ill , yes to the hospital we would go,

  13. my wife told me that there are a lot of con artist in china , some use women to sucker men into pouring out the money, a lot of women in china have very little english skills, so some con men use them as a prop to score, use caution , to many red flags, you can use web cam with dial up, i use to have dial up , so far she know more about you , and you know nothing about her, before i would plan a trip to china , i think i would have to know more than she is offering to tell, and pictures and make up can make anyone look good so on this deal think with your head and not your Johnson, i wish you the best of luck, and God bless you

  18. To tell you the truth, I felt it was big red flag when I saw your first post of the thread on CFL. My husband can contact with me at any time if he wants and I can do the same for him. I hope everything is well for you. I must agree with you Amanda. In my prior relationship, the lady would disappear sometimes... for a few days once for a whole week. I looked at them suspiciously, but was too in love(dumb) to see it for what it was... once she got to the US, the relationship fell apart almost instantly... did I have other red flags... OH YES, but again, I was I'm not saying this is John's situation, but never ignore the warning signs. My wife now, there was always a way for us to talk to each other. evryday.... everyday. except now, we have no communication because she is on her way here. Not trying to make John feel bad, but I know it is easy to really want the relationship to work and maybe it still can... she might just have cold feet.... but be prepared to accept and expect for it to not work out, after all it has been 24 days already... flowers or no flowers, no woman in love, unless she has a really good reason will go for almost a month with out talking to her man. If she truely loved you nothing could keep her from you, you two are married ,no need for her to have cold feet now ,sorry John , bad things happen to good people, i think maybe she don,t know what she want
  19. Yes David. Not only was mine and my new wife's, who had the ITIN denied, but also my two minor children from my previous marriage (both USC's), whom I always claim on my yearly Form 1040. This was a clear cut case of 'disenfranchisement' for so many USC taxpayers !!! There was a newspaper article out last May, which spoke to this. It seems that a very vocal anti-immigrant lobby group in D.C., was so worried about illegals getting the benefit, they had language quickly inserted which fuc..d many of us and also many US servicemen, who are married to foreign nationals. Following is an excerpt: The group is (FAIR) Federation for American Immigration Reform, who lobbied against a version of the bill that didn't require a Social Security number for the rebate, worried about the prospect of illegal immigrants receiving check. Spokesman Ira Mehlman said the exclusion of legal immigrants and Americans married to non-citizens was an [unintended consequence]. "If you're serving abroad and haven't been able to file the paperwork, they should make an exception," he said. "If one spouse is a citizen, is here legally and is filing, they should probably be entitled." Many of the couples snagged by this provision weren't aware that filing taxes using the foreign spouse's IRS-issued Taxpayer Identification Number instead of a Social Security number would cut them out. I wrote to Sen. Feinstein's office in S.F. and in D.C. complaining about the situation and after a six week wait, I received a very generic reply about the overall provisions of the stimulus package; obviously, my detailed letter was not even read, they just pushed a button on the response machine, when they saw what the subject was. I hope they fix this, if another stimulus is truly in the works again. trust me it is fixed , you don't need to worry,
  20. Same reason why my fiancee wants to stick with the English first name. Does not pronounce as you would think looking at the pinyin, plus the tones are difficult even when you know how it should be pronounced. Maybe we will go the nickname route afterall, and wait until the citizenship step. she can be called any name she like, but on all paper work , catch 21,all have to match the passport ,my wife do not use her chinese name , only on paperwork , my family cannot pronounce her chinese name, she only use her chinese name on paperwork, at the collage she attend, people will call you anything you like , real world
  21. . . . except for the normal several months period that we all wait through. It'll be processed by the USCIS and NVC before going on to GUZ. The EAD card is one thing , but the most important is the Green card, it allows her to work ,with out a EAD card, and she can come and go as she please, (so this is my way of thinking) each to there own
  22. Congratulations! to Bing & you Carl, always happy to hear good things from good friends
