The Code is right next to MEGAUPLOAD in bold letters. It says, "Please Enter ZXS here, which is in the box next to the code. The code will be different each time the page is opened. The code is multi colored. Then below there is a timer, it says "please wait" as the time counts down, then click "Download." Today we received two letters welcoming The Permanent Resident, one to my wife, and another addressed to myself stating the same thing due to filing the G-28. Without warning, The Green Card arrived today as well, all numbers and information are correct. Randy, you were correct. ADIT processing was uneventful. To all those still waiting in any of these processes, I would like to say I sincerely look forward to hearing of your Victory. With all of you in mind when I post our news, I feel saddened to the events that have resulted in delay to cases due to misjudgement and incompetence on the part of our own government, but I feel optimistic that love will prevail. I do pray for you all. For those who are in waiting due to "in order as received," hang in there it is all worth the wait. Eric

On January 29, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service. I thought that was basically what the other message said.

Hi Dan, Thanks for the congrats. I used that one thread to document our timeline on AOS, glad it helped. We did file the G-28 with each application, but it was never needed. Just never know. Good luck on the AOS portion. Eric

It sure seems there are a lot of cases being transfered. We recieved the same notice on 12-15-07 or so. The USCIS website said a letter was sent to welcome the new resident the other day. Well, on December 15, 2007 our I-485 Case was transfered to CSC. Today the USCIS website said this; Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident. On January 25, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

That is the "pinned thread" at the top of the AOS forum I think, and that is pretty much how I summed it up also.

Clayton, I have been thinking about the same things, and doing some reading up in the IRS "2006 Publication 519." I don't know if anything has changed for 2007. Page 10 talks about a "Non-resident spouse treated as a resident." It appears that one must include a "declaration" to do this. It would be real nice to file jointly. I just don't want to get burned by a mistake.. Eric

My guess would be that they have been reading about "calories burned." "Terlet seats," and what not. B) They must realize that they better get on the ball, hence the switch to "The case is under review." Mr. Seui, I think you have a great attitude on the whole mess. Stay positive, and be positive.

I would think that the finger prints may not come out clear enough, so they request another attempt in some cases. From what I could tell they process a lot of people in a short amount of time. I know that during biometrics they also seemed to be picky about the detail. They took a few tries for my wife, and it was a digital scan. Good luck.
