  1. That's Awesome Dave! I remember that day Jie recieved her P4, and the excitement. I know it feels good. Congrats!
  2. Hang in there Zach. Plan B Schedule the appointment, give the Consulate the evidence, and wait for a decision. While it's hard not to have emotional response in regard to the Consulate, they simply don't operate on emotions. Try not to burn too much energy, it will only make one crazy. Most of all take care of your Lychee.
  3. Congratulations! Very descriptive on the step by step motions, and the wait.
  4. I remember that machine, and the Atari 400. 8k upgrade to 16k or 32k. Yep, cassette recorder also. Even had an attachment to connect to a telephone as a modem.
  5. Thanks Jim. I would have never asked, but "cover all bases" never know. G-28 is not clear unless observed. Thanks.
  6. That was just my thought. Never know what USCIS will pull, being change to the system. 07-30. G-28 signs consent to do that it seems. Possible it makes not a "hill of beans," but why not. Just another form to fill out. Anyway, just a thought.
  7. Part 5 on the I-485, then I-131 and I-765 if one is filing this as well. Okay. Well, Jie speaks little English, conference call or not. G-28. All the way. I will include a G-28 with each application. So, "In re:" goes App. #, but what in the "File# box????? A#? Is it a file # stemed from the office of the attorney? The information I found today, 2003, go figure. States "for all applications, if filing concurently photocopies are acceptable, but why not just file all signed copies. This was from VSC. thanks Randy.

  9. So, We will file one G-28 for each application. AOS, EAD, AP. Ya know, the thread, "AOS Morons," brings it up, What does it mean? If applicable? In this game "applicable can mean 3-6 months."
  10. This was my understanding also. I have searched all over the web for a example form, but no luck. CFL search, even after I posted the topic, nothing. And still searching...... Thanks
  11. I would think the attorney representing the case would know, I mean, isn't that what you're paying them for??? In re: would be the subject being represented. I don't know what the file number would be. No attorney. My guess would be 1.In Re: Adjustment of Status. 2. File # would be the A# to link the case. I don't see the reference to the G-28 come up very often. Jie's English is not the best, and I would guess it should be filed if something were to come up through AOS.
  12. 1. On the form "G-28 Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Represenative" what does one put for the first box? In re:_________________? On the same form next to the "In Re:" what does one put for the "File No?"
  13. And, I always thought that the Consulate put all the "GZ #s" in a hat. Well, feels like it sometimes. Welcome, ch1ch1. Hang in there.
  14. Yeap the key word was YET but don't worry Eric I will ask my better half to to teach your better half this dirty little word. We'er always willing to help a fellow Texican out Bobby.... Thanks Bobby. I was probably going to loose a lot of sleep over the whole ordeal. Whew! Now that she will know what "Dirt" means, hmmmm...... I wonder how many ways she will use it in everyday conversation? Has to better than "Da bien" all the time.
  15. My wife doesn't know how to say "Dirt" yet. Should I teach her? Naaaaaa...... I like the sound of "no cleana" better.
  16. She will never let anything edible go to waste, watermelon rinds, bones, washes and reuses aluminum foil, Ziploc bags, little containers, ect¡.. and comment if I use too many paper towels, too much water, too much AC¡¡. She is slowly taking the consumerism out of me. But, When we do buy things it is high quality, and it does cost more. Just a different view is how I would explain it. Really, our definitions of ¡°cheap¡± are not the same.
  17. Knowing at least something sure helps. Good to hear. Sounds like the ball will be back in your court soon.
  18. How long till you were able to move and get out of the vehicle? Or, are you still there?
  19. I would feel that no news is good news. If the opposite, there is no place better to find answers on the topic than CFL.
  20. Congratulations Li Wen and George! About time! Wow.
