  1. Welcome Back Dave! Don't like "Sand," huh? Well, I can see that.
  2. If the detail is accurate it would be very educational. I would guess that there are many people who don't know the history. I have seen pictures in an anti-Japan circulation from China that were so graphic it turned my stomach.
  3. It was included in the $1010 fee.
  4. We filed 1st of September, and no interview letter yet here in Texas. Temporary work and travel docs came in week of Thanksgiving from MSC. Jie will travel to Shanghai early Jan to late Feb, it would be nice to know a date to see if we can work her trip around an interview. If an interview pops up while she is gone then we will ask if it can be rescheduled. I sorta hope it will be after her trip. It will be a close call if the 6 months time to process still holds true.
  5. While these were in regards to AOS they may help, but it appears that you would like to add the G-28 to the I-129F Petition paperwork. I'm not sure if that is the case. Dave's Questions yuan fen's Questions Looks like you are going to see An soon. Best of wishes for you.
  6. Hallucinating. Which is legal in Cali. I think. I like the term "Daydreaming." Besides, either way, it can make the waiting more tolerable. Sorta. Well, not really. Take that back. I like the term "Hallucinating" better.
  7. Coooooooooooooooool!....................... Congratulations!
  8. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaa? Congratulations! Yep, a perfect example of a "Very Apologetic," response from the CIS. That is about as good as it gets. Take it and run. Your comment, "I'll be happy when it arrives." Sounds a little like you will believe it when you see it. Understandable. Anyway, Great News Ty.
  9. Don't froget to leave all your "guns and knives" at home, or in the car. They are not allowed either. Sorry, I just found it odd they would request this also. As for cell phones, the Social Security Office here had the same requirements, as do most Government Offices. Customs at the airports makes one turn them off. In Guz cell phones are rendered before entry on the 5th floor. The "Application Support Center" here in Dallas requested "No Cell Phones," but there was not an x-ray machine upon entry. One could easily turn it off, and be okay I would suppose. One person's phone began ringing while waiting, but the officer at the desk didn't seem too alarmed.
  10. Congratulations! Did you sleep? Fear of the unknown does come with a lot of stress. Time and Money? Well, they are just that. It will all seem to fade away once you two are together at last. Thanks for the report. Boy, I bet you are on "Cloud 9." Going to be a good holiday season.
  11. Good Luck! Dave, I was reading another thread, and seen your timeline, and thought "TODAY?" Then I thought I would check to see if you posted any topic on the final hour, and low and behold. Well, best of luck to Jing. And, you can try to sleep....but......... Yea, right.
  12. Jie can take an article of clothing here, doesn't matter what size, normaly bigger, take every thread out of it, take some measurements, do a few modifications with her scissors, and sew it all back together on her machine. Resulting in the perfect fit to her satisfaction clothing. Something about the quality of the thread, and the stitch in many clothes here that just turns her off. She is also picky when it comes to the quality of the fabric. She likes some of the styles here, but is always looking to see what modification she can do to make them better. Hip hugger jeans get cut even lower, and the tops get tighter.
  13. US Post Office, Priority, and paid for the tracking but didn't use it. No special packing, being it all fit into the provided envelope at the Post Office.
  14. File for EAD and AP. Both applications do not have much too them, so why not. We filed both when we filed AOS in Sept., and paid the $1010 fee. The AP took 62 days, and EAD 66 days from NOA 1. Both would be good for approx. one year after receiving them. I have to agree with Bill on not to assume 6-8 months to complete the AOS portion. There are many here who are stuck in the system, and still waiting. Some here are pushing their 3rd EAD, which is BS on the USCIS end if you ask me. I am not sure if the "unlimited" EAD/AP is correct either under the new fee structure. It would seem if this were the case the USCIS would be on their toes to process AOS within the 6-8 months. This being, multiple EAD/AP would begin to cost the USCIS money the longer a case is delayed.
  15. I have a couple of questions about the G-28. Did you fill in those top three boxes titles "In re","Date" and "File No.",or are they meant for office use only? If you did fill them in, what did you put for "In re" and "File No." Thanks I had those same questions Dave. G-28 Questions I left the "File No." blank.
  16. It was from your recomendation we filed the G-28 with each application; AOS, EAD, and AP. While I have not found clear documentation to the bounds of the G-28, there is no fee for including it. We did receive a copy of the "I-797C Notice of Receipt" for each application filed and the "I-797C Biometrics ASC Appointment Notice" in c/o myself, so the USCIS must acknowledge the G-28 on some level. My thought at the time of filing was if the G-28 could be needed for me to inquire about my wifes case by any chance, why not file. To me it is simply a matter of "Strict or Loose Interpretation" by an USCIS Official, which in either case, with it filed possibly no issues could arise in this arena. Thus far in our case the G-28 has not been needed. Update: Once the Approved I-512L for Advance Parole was received, I decided to check our case on the USCIS website for the first time. AOS showed "Recieved/Pending" as suspected being less than 6 months as stated on the processing times page. EAD status showed "Card production ordered," as of 19 November 2007. The EAD Card was received 24 November 2007 from the USCIS Missouri Cervice Center, 66 Days from I-797C Notice of Receipt.
  17. Cool........................... B) doesn't quite express tour feelings though. This might.. Congrats!
  18. Update: Biometrics appointment, completed on October 30, 2007, for both AOS and EAD in Dallas, Texas. This was conducted at an "Application Support Center." Located at; 3701 W. Northwest HWY Village at Bachman Lake Suite 211 Dallas, Texas 75220 A little information for locating the office for those that may be given this location in the Dallas area. If traveling West on Northwest Hwy Turn Right on Webb Chapel Rd. Go (approx. 1 block) Turn Right on El Centro Dr. Just after the slight left bend in El Centro Dr. past the first parking lot Turn Right into the second parking lot. The "Application Support Center" will be on the right in the Shopping Center. The sign on the Suite is "APPLICATION SUPPORT CENTER." One will be asked to show the Appointment Letter and Valid Photo Identification. We simply used my wife¡¯s Passport. After the Appointment Letter and Identification were checked by the front desk there was a form to fill out. Applicant¡¯s A#, and Application Number (s) for I-485 or I-765 will be needed, and is printed on the ASC Appointment Letter. Father and Mother¡¯s Name was also needed on the form. When the form was complete we returned it to the front desk, the appointment letter was stamped, and we were given a number. When the number was called we went to the next room for fingerprints, a photograph, and signature. We received the Approved I-512L Authorization for Parole of an Alien Into the United States. The MSC# matches the I-797C Notice of Action receipt number for the I-131, and the A# is correct. There were 2 copies of the I-512L received. Advance Parole received, 62 Days after the I-131, I-797C Notice of Receipt.
  19. That's Awesome! Congratuations!
  20. Cooooooool................... Congratulations!
  21. Congratulations! And, You said, " 我期待你们能相信我们的爱是真爱。如果认识Lychee一个人不得不爱她。她就是这样子特别的。我不可能错过机会。?" That must have had the VO quivering in his boots. So tell the truth did you have the video as backup?
