  1. ! Might want to check into whether the US can revoke your disability if you indeed do move to China. That is my thought. But asking them might trigger a watch for any reason to revoke.
  2. If you decide to move to China, disability has to continue to send you monthly checks in China. Your money would go a lot further there. Assuming your SSD checks are direct deposit, you could just use your debit card to obtain cash in China. You could also deposit you proceeds from eventual sale of your home and access that money from China the same way. People who have looked more into retirement in China can provide some more details for you but from a high level, you would need either and "employer" in China for a long term visa or every few months you would need to leave China and return again using a new visa. This isn't a huge deal. I think it's a two or three hour train ride to Viet Nam. Your prescription medicine could probably be relayed by mail or simply obtained in China. Any medical care would be out of pocket but it is not nearly as expensive there as it is here. For China, you have a good income. I'd give it a shot by answering the blue slip. She can probably do it by mail without showing up in GUZ. As somebody else said, there are guidelines. Technically you meet them but the VO must still be satisfied that your wife and daughter will not become a public charge. As a practical matter, you will always need housing, so converting the equity in your home is a temporary solution to a permanent problem. I agree that the low income from disability along with your recent divorce is likely what sparked the fraud suspicion. Now they want more current financials and have suggested a co-sponsor. You'll just have to do the best you can or bag it and move to China. It might be helpful to provide the exact words on the blue slip instead of your interpretation. Perhaps there's a further clue there to additional eyes. I did not interprete anything, I said exactly what the green slip says. Need a cosponsor. The blue slip says they want my *credit card statements*, not bank statments, for the plane tickets. Nothing else about anything anywhere on the papers. Lee, I am using the numbers that I filed under last year. As long as the application is active for that year I filed in, I can use those numbers for myself. Now a new sponsor will use the 2006 current, until April of 2007 when the new numbers come out. Lee, anyway you look at it, this is a mess.
  3. With all the talk about the I184 going around when I explaine to them what cosponsor means, everyone will run like hell. Besides, I do not know anyone that makes enough money to be a cosponsor. You must be able to support your current situation and the 2 additional people and meet the 125 above poverty rule. Am I right about this? Yes, if it's you and 2 beneficiaries, it amounts to 3 people in you household If the cosponsor has 3 children and a wife and himself. that is 5 of his own. Then 2 more added to his figures is 7. That is $36,412.00. I do not know anyone that makes that kind of money. Most of the people I know make around 24 - 30 a year. and the ship sinks slowly....................

  5. I thought they were supposed to look at you assets when income is not enough. I submitted this before. I have enough equity in my house to be way over the demand. And i have income too. It is just enough to support one person though. Other personal assets that could be changed into cash in less than a year is pretty substantial too. Has this rule changed on this?
  6. The now want the credit card statements showing I bought the tickets. ok fine I have them. They had the bank receipts showing this but................ They are saying I do no make enough money to file for her and lulu. Even with my assetts I have. It is not enough. Which it is. Just the equity in the house alone is good enough. They say I need a co-sponsor. Well that is the story. \ No-one in my family will sign. So we are going to be SOL here. I will try and resubmit my I-134 about myself again and see. But no co-signers for us in my family I am sure. Even if we get married, she will not get a visa for the same reason. I live on SSDisability. Someone can tell me what is involved in staying in China to live? If so Pm me with the details.
  7. Dear Mr. Heim, We apologize for the late response to your message. We regret to inform you that the adjudicating officer hasn't approved your fianc¨¦e a visa yet. We sent her a new blue sheet (OF-194) early this week with grounds and additional request. Please fax or mail us her name and updated mailing address in Chinese characters, the zip code and her contact phone number if she has not received it until the middle of January 2007. We will then resend the blue sheet to her. Immigrant Visa Unit This email is UNCLASSIFIED based upon the provisions of E.O. 12958 I can't believbe this, I just can't believe this
  8. David if this is a flow of the past then it sure doesn't look good for Yanlan and I. -relationship doubted / third party. 8 months for nothing then.
  9. Does Gobot live here? Every time I sign in it is here. I think it fell in love with CFL!!!!!
  10. Virtually every person entering and leaving the United States by air, sea or land is scored by the Homeland Security Department's Automated Targeting System, or ATS. The scores are based on ATS' analysis of their travel records and other data, including items such as where they are from, how they paid for tickets, their motor vehicle records, past one-way travel, seating preference and what kind of meal they ordered. Kind of sounds like what happened to us through Guangzhou. Above in color blue. I was going to post this last night but I thought I might get blasted by some again. What the hell difference does it make what I eat...... Going to poision me with radiation? It's like my toe nail clippers......Yes, I am going to take over the world with my toe nail clippers, stand back!!!!!!! Listen, The fourth Reich is protecting us. Don't even try to question the immigration o0fficers. It will cause you so much trouble, you will wish you never went to visit your family. Just go along and quietly answer everything and take what they dish out.
  11. I guess my last trip back from china was pretty good at the POE. I was asked 3 questions. Where is your passport. Where are you coming from,.....China What was the purpose, ....Visit family. Ok, go to catch your next plane, no customs. I don't think it gets better than that. Pure luck!!!
  12. Most dating sites are riddled with fraud including chnlove, match, AFF, etc. chlove charges $5-$6 for each email, therefore to send and read a reply is $10-$12. If you pay them $1000 it might be $3.00 each. Chlove says the lady doesn't pay a penny. They "plant" non real ladies just to get emails going and get revenue. I communicated with someone there only to find her exact same picture with completely different profile and age on other sites. She refused to email on non chlove site, you figure. Match.com is the worst as it is the biggest in U.S. probably. Fraud there is easy to spot and I had Match.com delist several fraud ladies. In China many dating sites charge large fees to the ladies guaranteeing them "richer" contacts. 60,000 RMB owed by Thomas Promise wife seems reasonable to me since he said he wrote couple thousand letters or so. I believe organized crime runs many dating services or at least uses the sites to extort money from unsuspecting single men. I have many stories to tell so write me if you have questions. It is best to find English speaking lady and call her immediately to talk to her on the phone. Something is wrong if they don't want you to call even if they say they speak very little English. The dating sites like Match.com are in it for the money so they have no interest in preventing fraud as long as someone pays them. Only when someone complains like me will they delist the fraud listing. I can tell canned email response easily and match.com has no problem removing the listing that is obviously fraud. Not all are fraud however, but I found that at least 50% of match.com response was fraud, chlove 25% fraud, AFF 35% fraud. Byron, with all due respect, you are painting a very negative and gloomy picture of all of these websites. There are many happy CFL'rs here who met the love of their lives through a dating website. Most, as far as I can determine, without any problems. As I stated before, I met mine on AsiaEuro. I paid $29 and wrote unlimited emails. My SO paid nothing. I did the same with Yanlan. We both feel we did quite well. Through all the trouble we have been put through, a scammer would have left the scene long ago.

  16. I got an email from guz today. It seems to me that our case may be coming to a final end some time soon. I don't know. So I am asking if anyone else reads into this email, the same as I do. From GUZ: Dear Mr. XXXXXX, Your fiancée's case has been completed the administrative processing. Her case is in the line of waiting for being reviewed. We are unable to estimate when her case will be finished. But rest assured that we will contact your fiancée immediately by mail once her case is ready for continued processing. Best regards, Immigrant Visa Unit What do you guys think? Here is a copy of "ALL" the rest of the emails I have been getting for the last 8 months. So you can see the difference between the responses. Dear Mr. XXXXX, Please be advised that your fianc¨¦e's case remains unchanged since our previous reply to you on October 12, 2006. We are unable to estimate when her case will be finished. But rest assured that we will contact your fianc¨¦e immediately by mail once her case is ready for continued processing. Best regards, Immigrant Visa Unit This email is UNCLASSIFIED based upon the provisions of E.O. 12958 Rick and Yanlan
