  1. My wife recently finsihed Removal of Condition and are just realxing now. We found out that USPS has rasied the price of the PO BOX and we are thinking about closing it. My question is, do i still need to notify USCIS at this point and tell them to send any future documents to the house?

  4. I received an update on the USCIS website but it doesn't say approved but it says the following: On May 23, 2012, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283. Decision circle and Post Decision Activity circle is gray. Anybody know what that means? as of today we are still waiting for an interview date.
  5. just received a letter today saying the case was relocated and we will be having an interview. This seems like a never ending drama...

Thanks for thre responses, you guys are great!! reason for the PO Box is no one is home all day and my mail box is near the curb so we wanted a secure location for papers with SSA numbers exposed, etc... kinda regret getting it now. I plan on slowly changing all of her addresses and have everything go to the house now and yea we are broke so can't move out even after 2 years....
  7. My wife received an RFE for her Removal of Condition. We sent the below initially Check for $590 to the Department of Homeland Security I-751 Form • Copies of the green card, driver license, social security, and student ID cards of (My Wife's name). • Copy of the tax transcripts of our 2009 and 2010 joint US tax return. • A letter from my company of the designation of my benefits to (My Wife's name). • A copy of car insurance notice. (I am excluded due to high cost of insurance) • A copy of our car finance summary, showing joint ownership. • A copy of our Vehicle Registration Card showing joint ownership and common address. • A copy of our Vehicle Registration Renewal Notice showing joint ownership and common address. • A copy of our Mastercard and credit card statement showing a joint account. • A copy of our hotel reservations for our Las Vegas trip in September of 2009 and April of 2010. • A copy of our hotel reservation for our Laughlin, Nevada trip in July of 2011. • Copy of our various casino players¡¯ club cards. • A copy of my credit card statement showing airline ticket purchase for my wife¡¯s vacation back home and class tuition for her college. • 24 pictures of us and our family and friends. The RFE is asking for the exact samething that was sent. We are a young couple and don't have enough money to move out so we do not have a lease or a mortgage. My parents is the typical Chinese that is afraid to sign anything related to the government so me making up a lease or rent agreement is out of the question. We are living at my parents house and do not have a lease or agreements. We are living rent free at my parents. My wife is a full time student so she is not working at the moment. The only thing we own together is a car that we bought that I am currently paying off. I am also paying for her insurance. We have a PO Box and all of my wife's important mail is going there, the only thing we get at my parents house from her is advdertisements like credit card offers, etc.. I am planning to send the what I sent initially and adding tax transcrips for 2011 and some more credit card statements. I paid Bank of America $10.00 to send me a letter about our joint account. My wife did receive a letter from the SSA at my parents house as well as USCIS letters, should I send those as proof that she lives with me? Please suggest what else I should include.

  9. My girl wants to go home to visit for about 3 weeks 8/7-8/29. I will be sending the documents to USCIS on 8/4 for removal of condition since her green card expires on 11/4. Will there be any issues while traveling during this time?

Hello All I am gathering documents for the Removal of Conditions Process, I am not sure if the below documents are enough to on going marriage and so I need some advice. • Copies of the passports and green cards of (Spouses Name.) • Copy of the tax transcripts of our 2009 and 2010 joint US tax return. • Letter from my company of the designation of my benefits to (Spouses Name). • Copy of car insurance notice. (I am excluded due to high cost of insurance) • Copy of our car finance summary, showing joint ownership. • Copy of our visa cards and credit card statement showing a joint account. • A copy of our hotel reservations for our Las Vegas trip in September of 2009 and April of 2010. • Copy of (Spouses Name) Student ID at Pasadena City College. • Our Pictures I live with my parents so I don't have any utility bills and we have a PO Box, so my girl's government document has that address instead, I hope that doesn't make any difference. I also have my credit card statement going there, so we are sharing the PO Box. Any Advice is much appreciated!!
  11. We also have a po box address and this is what we use mainly for mail communications. This po box is regustered to both of us.

I have the following: Tax transcripts 2008-2010, years 2009-2010 are joint filings Employment verification letter Bank statement showing joint account Car Finance document showing joint ownership Fafsa sar document with her married name Marriage certificate Pictures from our vacation Driver lisence Student ID College bill, Showing that I am paying her classes Credit card offers sent to our house Car insurance monthly statement, however I am excluded since I dont want to drive her car. I am paying both car and insurance... I don't own home so I don't have any docs for this, We are still living with my parents and rent free... I just want to confirm the right time to send in the form and supporting documents...
  13. Hello All, I know that we need to file Removal of Condition within 90 days of her green card expiring. My question is does USCIS need to receive all the documents before the 90 days? her Greencard expires 11/4/2011...
  14. Do you know the reason for the white slip? What does the white slip say exactly? Did you goto Guangzhou? Did you attend American Citizen hour? What evidence did your lady bring for the interview? and it's very doubtful that the senator can help you. You need to find out the exact reason for the denial in order to refile, study the issue, understand the issue then have a resolution for the issue.
  15. Every Chinese family has a family book, you bring this book to this office called Gong Zheng Zhu, this is a notary office, and with the family book, they are able to generate a single certificate, this is how we did it...
  16. i used air china for flying back to china a few times, great service, food is alright... also China Eastern has outlets to charge laptops, so it's better, hehe
  17. good luck for the interview! Were you able to have a look at the interview result section here on CFL? There are many questions that are posted there that are asked during the interview... you can compile some and show your wife, this way she won't be nervous during the interview...
