How would she normally sign something?
-
That would be 125% above poverty level and if for some reason the couple gets divorced for many reason. Then you would still have to support her for 10 years! This is NOT true of the I-134. It is ONLY true AFTER the I-864 is accepted for AOS, or for the IR-1 or CR-1 visas.

There is no due process at GUZ - There is no court you turn to, no one who can right any wrongs unless the VO's are willing to listen. A lawyer can help, but he is also at the mercy of GUZ.

Married in China, need to bring bride to US
Randy W replied to HaoRan's topic in General Visa Discussion & First Steps
Ok, Thanks ShaQuaNew!! Also, read up on DCF (Direct Consular Filing), in case it applies to your situation. It will shave months off the wait for the visa. -
At the risk of stating the obvious here, I'll state the obvious - 3rd party correspondence comes from a third party. Anyone with knowledge of the case. The consulate has given us every reason to think that anything from gossip from a jealous acquaintance, to someone with direct knowledge of the individuals can be taken seriously.

They won't discuss the case with me unless she is present to answer questions over the phone. That's right. I forgot about that. But you can at least give it a try. You have nothing to lose. Sorry for the troubles but like I said, the worst is you lose the fee. Thanks, I'll give it a try and also schedule and INFOPASS appointment. Worse-case scenario is reapplying and sending the G-28 with it. What a pain in the arse. I have heard of cases where the beneficiary was able to give the okay to discuss the case over the phone. See if she can't be available at the time of the appointment. See if you can find out the address they have for the EAD application. Does this denial notice have the correct address? The only problem is that she's going to be back in the states in late Dec. The denial notice had the correct address. Just must be an oversight on their part, I assume, with all the backlog of cases filed. Can she be at a telephone at the time of the InfoPass appt?

I got caught up with my emotions...

Whoa - I did read it, and it was NOT deleted because of the OP. He posted HIS side of what happened, hung around a little while, and got out. -

Your timeline shows a biometric appointment on Aug 22. Did she go to that one? Check the A #'s on all of the NOA1's and Appt (and this) notices to see if any are different. If so, schedule an InfoPass appt (with or without her) immediately to straighten it out.

I think that's the group that played at the Olympics in 2004 when the torch was passed to Beijing for 2008.

Hopefully, it can be resolved quickly, but there is a reason for them wanting the fingerprints. There is no telling how long it may take to resolve the issue.

Is this correct? In order for Ying and I to have our son immigrate we had to apply for him and complete all the required paperwork, I-864, medical check, etceteras. I don't think it is automatic, or am I missing something? No - nobody's missing anything. They really do make it fairly easy.

They should have filled out the Yellow Book for her, and might still be able to do that, but it might be simpler to get them done here.

You need the little yellow international Vaccination book. The civil surgeon will transvribe from this record only. Otherwise, yes you will have to redo them.

Lao gong (Mandarin) is lou5 gung1 in Cantonese. ÀϹ« is the Chinese characters for either.

Just as a note here - it is a public building. Anyone is allowed access at any time. Access to the fifth floor consulate is controlled by the fourth floor guards. The applicants are initially queued outside the building. This is primarily for traffic control. . . . and Congratulations!

. . . and DO NOT download or install qqplay.exe.
-
What I did was to first check the browser add-ons (under Tools - Add-ons). QQ installs several directories - i think they're called TenCent, QQ..., and ZComprdiv. Go in and replace any executables, and the important dll's (like yok.exe, ZCom*.exe, TSUpdater.exe, TT*.exe, QQ*.exe, QQ*.dll) with non-executable text files and make them read-only and hidden. You can make these directories read-only and hidden as well. This will prevent QQ from repairing any of these files. Jim always wins these discussions.

I got Jiaying on the Mars Expedition, and Space Mountain rides while at Disney World, but I don't think she would ride them again. I got the same (puking sound) reaction at the end. But her only complaint was "I don't like" and that the console was too close at the Mars Expedition. She declined the Splash Mountain, Test Track, and Mt Everest rides. Overall, I think we're headed backwards on this issue. I posted to just drop the idea.. but some will persist when puking is at stake We got nowhere near her puke limit, but she just "doesn't like", and I wouldn't choose to push that.

We renewed without ours, since I didn't know to use it - it came anyway after 60 days with the correct start and end dates. They figure out who you are, but it may help in some way.

Looks like it's playing the 12th through the 18th - exactly the time we're in Orlando
