    Who runs your house

We decide but I am the banker! What Randy said but I know how much money she has in her account Where is the OP's reply?
  2. I have a hard enough time speaking English... especially in Texas!!!
  3. I'm sorry Eric. A new member posted a question in your thread. I should have responded using a personal message. Jesse, You are my bud and can thread jack anytime you want to...
  4. Good ole' CFL and the thread jackers...
  5. We will be now thanks to you... (we reconciled and are working out issues)
  6. Well... After all the B.S. all the struggles and triumphs we have faced. It will be 5 years to the day May 23rd since I received "LOOKING FOR HUSBAND" email from my wife. We received an I-797c notice from the USCIS congratulating on the approval of her removal of conditions. No interview and we should receive her card within 60 days. Now, we can focus on the kids who are in the 90 day window. This should go smoothly since mama is the primary you would think huh? Damn... my heart is racing and can't keep the tears back. I look back at all the paperwork and prep I had done. All the adjustments and teachings. Just doesn't seem like 5 years has passed that quickly. Today... is a good day!
  7. This is sound advice. Some health clinics go off of your income but I believe the cap is 10 bucks a shot no matter what. The children will have to follow school immunization procedures to be enrolled.
  8. Best of luck. Good fortunes are coming your way!
  9. Thank you Jin for that insight. I'm an Ox (cow, bull, whatever...) Others have been making trouble for me. I'm not gambling and I need to shut up because things I've been saying is getting me in hot water. (I am wearing red tonight btw)
  10. I showed the customs officer my goodies and he cleared us through thank you very much... I'm a honest citizen if that's what you implied Dave. BTW, no offense taken...
  11. Mailed the application to Vermont cuz I reside in Texas. 6 months seems the norm about anything I ever did in the immigration process. The USCIS should just use the 6 month reply in all they do...
  12. My daughter Lulu says year of the cow... So what is it? Ox or cow?
  13. Watching that video of the cartoon doggie will explain it all while the plane is making it's approach. Every time I came through customs was a breeze and even had some dried plums and moon cakes with us at one time. No problems!
  14. I was with Lucy and the kids and went through the same line as they did. The officer went over the documents briefly and extended a warm "Welcome to the United States" and a "Welcome Home" to me. It was very quick and easy for us! LAX was our POE.
  15. Well then... that's cool and the drive will be traffic free for the most part. A trip to the Hong Kong Marketplace is in the cards! The first notice extended her green card expire date 1 year... Still learning after all this time!
  16. Just make sure y'all tell you wife/fiancee that they will be stopped and asked for their papers/visa/passport several times in their stroll to get on the airplane as my wife and children were. We were stopped 3 times in Beijing. Once at the Starbucks and the other times were within 20 feet of itself. That was comical to me as we were just walking towards the boarding area and were asked for papers. No sooner had Lucy put her passport in her purse were we stopped again before the boarding call was made!
  17. We received the 797 receipt a few weeks ago saying my payment had been received for the $545. Yesterday, she received the notice for scheduled biometrics in Dallas on January 10th. This is a Saturday! Are they open on a Saturday? I'm guessing they are. The Government doesn't make mistakes do they? I had a Lawyer's assistant tell me that this is moving quickly and that we may not even have an interview for her 10 year green card which would be so sweet! Comments?
  18. Maybe renewal in China is cheaper and easier
  19. The Bills were distracted by the 60 mph winds but what is the excuse for the rest of the season?
  20. Are you talking Chinese passport? That info could be different because from what I understand... Chinese passports can only be renewed in person at their consulates, so renewal in China is a good option.
  21. From the travisa site... Passport Requirements: Send us your original, signed passport valid for 6 months beyond stay, and with at least one blank visa page available for visa stamp(s). The Amendment pages in the back of the passport can't be used for visa stamp.
  22. Generally when applying for a visa to put in your passport... you need to have 6 months or more of validity left on your passport. I may be incorrect! Check out a visa site like www.travisa.com
  23. I find this post very interesting as I have heard this many times. Loss of face and becoming "tainted" could be the reason. We went K-1, not because of the reasons mentioned but due to the easier route taken to leave China.
  24. I agree here. Notary would be a waste of time in this case. If I'm not mistaken, this type or notarization only verifies your signature. It sounds like some very do-able things here. Coming from a man that went thru overcome as we had 9 issues to deal with. Best wishes for a successful overcome!
