I had to do this. I went to the PSB in Beijing. I had to open a Chinese Bank account and deposit $2,000.00 then file the forms. The visa takes seven days. I was able to travel to GUZ showing the yellow reciept for the 940 RMB application. I will pick up the visa when I return to Beijing tomorrow. Get it in the States!!

THANKS, The EMS tracking showed up tonight so we will pick up in the morning, fly to Beijing in the evening and to Las Vegas the next day.

Monday December 15th. PINK Dec 10th No "Joy" at the China Post this morning. Went to the Embassy, they say tomorrow Back to the GUZ airport later today to change our tickets to Beijing, again. Now I must change my ticket to the U.S., again $280.00 twice. We will book Liuyings' ticket after the visa is clutched firmly in my hand. I don't care about the ticket money, and Hotel money, I only care that when I go to America, my family, 1 and 1/2 people, are with me! Steve

No, we deceided to wait and call China Post in the morning at 9:30 if not there, I will go to the Consulate before 10 am. If her visa is not at china post, it is still at the consulate. Worst case, Mr. Yang will take us to the Notary at 11 am and he will ship the Visa to Liuying in Beijing. Liuying and I already changed our tickets to Beijing from last Friday to Monday the 15th in the evening. I must return to Las Vegas on the 16th. I have been away from my Company since Nov. 16th. and everything is going to hell. Well on a positive note, this medival visa process has cost so much this year, Uncle Sams xmas gift will be much, much lower.

Wed Dec 10th, Pink Sat Dec 13th, no visa at China Post We hope for Monday because My plane ticket from Beijing to San Fran is for Tue Dec 16th. If I have to I will change my ticket, I won't let LiuYing be forced to fly to the States by herself. Now she is 6 1/2 months pregnant and the airlines will not let her fly after Dec 20th. What "real" time are you getting the visa from the Post?

Were you able to pick up visa on 10th? We go Pink on 10th and now 13th, not there yey, stuck here for the weekend, hope for monday!
