I am confused about the GIV-24 Family compostion sheet. Does the petitioner have to fill out, or only the beneficiary?

On all of my trips I HAVE NOT been sick or even feeling sick. I sleep like a baby with my BABY!!! On my last trip, once returning back to the states, I experianced the worst case of the runs ever. I have narrowed it down to eating some raw oysters on the half shell, which was at a very expensive seafood restaurant. I had to go to DR to get some CIPRO which cleared everything up!!! My sleeping is always screwed up for at least the first week back. That is the only thing I dislike about coming home .... Besides having to leave my lovely WIFE!!!!!

Here is a little trick that my Mother-In-Law taught me about making dumplings. When rolling out the little rounds, you should roll everything to the center and create a thicker center about the size of your small finger nail. She says that will prevent the dumplings from getting a hole in the bottom, and all the filling from coming out. I have yet to try it on my own, but that day will happen when my Wife is here to supervise!!!

Well Happy New Year to everyone!!! I am here at Beijing waiting for my flight home to SF I want to tell everyone that we recieved our P-3 on X-MAS eve by EMS.... We sent back to GUZ and they recieved it on the 27th!!!! Now waiting for the P-4 and interview date If anyone has a guesstimation I would love to hear what your projections for our interview date!!! So long from China!!!

I was wondering, You got a interview date for your K-3 My quetion is.... When did you send back you paperwork from your P-3 We just got our P-3 on X-MAS EVE, and returned it asap I'm trying to guess when we will get our interview date?? Thanks, Scott

I'm leaving for China tomorrow and would like to download the forms that are in the P-3 for "K-3" My Wife wants them incase we don't recieve the P-3 while I'm there. I really don't know what are the contents of the P-3 or what forms are in it. Q:1. What are the contents of P-3 for "K-3" Q:2. What forms are in the P-3 Q:3. where to find to download I would be able to help her fill them out ahead of time If anyone can help, that would be great Scott

Well as you can see, my case must of been on the boat that was lost at sea, but now has been found! I will really be pissed if you get your interview before ours Best of luck

My Wife just phoned me at 12:30A.M. To tell me that GUZ just phoned her to confirm her address, and the P-3 is on it's way!!! A little story that makes today special....... My wife went to the store to buy a Christmas tree for us and her family to share our first X-mas together. when she went inside the store the weather was nice but cold. The sales person only had 1 tree left, so she bought it and the person gave her many decorations for free since it was the last tree. When she stepped outside it was snowing and she stood there watching the snow fall all over tree, and thought it was amazing that the tree actually was covered with snow, she knew that it would bring us good luck. So she started back home, and the weather became clear very quik. After home with the tree her cell phone rang, and it was GUZ asking her to confirm her address and told her that they were sending our P-3 She and the lady from GUZ talked about many things and thanked her for a wonderful day, she also told her the same story that I'm telling you about the tree!!! I've been there and done that! GUZ says that you need to call the visa call center for info regarding your case. I then called DOS to find out what the hell is taking so long to recieve P-3 My case has been sitting at GUZ with name check complete since SEPT. The nice lady at DOS told me to email GUZ to request "case status" which I did. They responded with their canned response..... " We here at GUZ are doing our best to process cases to better serve you.... If you need to find info on your case you can call the VISA CALL CENTER, which is a pay service I KNOW that the call center is only another AVE for our government to generate revenue, It is no help what so-ever. My Wife has called several times only for them to tell her that our case has NOT been recieved yet. The first time she called and told me that, I called DOS to find out if that was true or not. Dos informed me that YES our case is in the system since the beginning of OCT!!! If I were you, I would not worry to much at this point. It will happen soon. Scott

I called DOS today, they told me that GUZ has NOT sent P-3 yet!

"our" case was entered into GUZ late SEPT, name check was completed 9-13-05..... Still no P-3? Wife faxed address in Chinese late NOV incase there was any problems, I called DOS today to find out case status. The NICE lady that I spoke with told me that GUZ still has not sent P-3 She suggested that I email GUZ to ask for case status, so like a good little boy! I emailed them asking WHEN will they send P-3, and P-4!!! If anyone has some incouraging thoughts, or other ways to get what I am looking for, please let me know. Scott

Wow, I am really in the same bind. I have tickets to go Dec 25 to Jan 16. 3 weeks. That is a lot of time from work.........and I am trying to figure out the same problem. If interview is last week of Jan, what do I do with trip? If Feb, what do I do? I think the 'not knowing' is sometimes worse than the wait. I scheduled it that way because I beleived the interview would be end of march, or april. But now, with times getting faster, it could be in Jan or Feb. About P3, call the DOS # I have posted on this thread. 5 trips to China YTD, #6 next week..... I recently switched jobs, and before I accepted my new job, I made it very clear to my new company that I would need to travel back to China several more times before my Wife receives her VISA. They were very willing to grant me my request The money is not the main issue for me, by no means I am wealthy. I have some friends that have connections with airlines to allow me to travel for next to nothing, which I am thankful for. I just don't want to take advantage of my new company, they pay me very well for what I do. When I am gone from work I feel that the company is suffering from my absence.... I guess I have a conscious!!!

Well I can sympathize with all in this topic, I hope to get some kind of answer tomorrow. "Our" case was fowarded on 9-13-05 to GUZ My wife has called several times, the last time was last WED..... Still nothing in the system. We are frothing at the mouth at this point, and to actually see that it is in China..... That is one hell of a milestone!!! I am going to be in China next WED for the Thanksgiving holiday, and I hope that we would be able to receive our P-3 while I was there..... Wishful thinking. I don't know how the rest of you guys are planning for your next trips, or for the holidays, so close to interview time.... But I can tell you that it is very difficult for me to decide when to stay and when to go??? I have decided to go for Thanksgiving for 9 days, She would really like if I were there for X-MAS too.... Ohhh, case solved!!!

I recently switched my service to DYNASKY, In the past few days my WIFE has been hearing strange voices on her end when I call her. She has told me it sounds like a woman, one time she said she heard "Let me listen" another time she heard someone laughing. She has questioned me to death, who it may be? And even took it to the point of "Are you with another woman" This is very strange that she is hearing other people on the line when I call her, It's only for the first few seconds when the call is picked up. Has anyone experianced ANYTHING LIKE THIS??? Phone lines being crossed, or someone trying to spy on your phone calls? My WIFE is very concerned about this happening, and is wondering if someone is trying to sabotage "OUR" process. Your comments would be very greatly appreciated

In the western world we have been brought up to express our feelings through words, and the ones we love we often tell them "I love you" I think we say those 3 words to express our feelings, not to show that we are insecure. Chinese women dislike a man to express their feelings using words, they require action! It's hard to show our women action when we are 1/2 way around the world, they like to live in "The Now" From what I have learned, Chinese women like a man that is confident, show no sign of insecurity. They get their happiness from what we are projecting, our health, frame of mind..... They also think when someone is always telling them that they love them, that it loses it meaning. That is where the action comes into play. (talk is cheap) It is very hard on us as much as them, being seperated from the ones we love, and the grueling process. I hope that this will help Scott

Can someone tell me where I could find the DHL airbill number, shipping number to track where our PKG is,,, I called NVC to find out what the # is , and they told me that they don't have any shipping # I called DHL to see if they could help me in locating our PKG they told me that they need a shipping # or airbill # to locate our PKG Who has this mysterious # and how the hell can I get it!!!!
